DiCUNO GU10 LED Bulbs 5W Daylight White 6000K, 500lm, 120 Degree Beam Angle, Spotlight, 50W Halogen Bulbs Equivalent, Non-dimmable MR16 LED Light, 6-Pack

I use these with ikea tross ceiling fixtures with three spotlight receptacles (so three bulbs cost almost the same as the fixture!). I tested these against bulbs that were identical but had a 40 degree "spotlight" beam angle. I prefered the 120-degree "flood" angle on these bulbs, found it much better for general illumination. The 3000k color temp is about right, not harsh but not as yellow as my old "soft white" cfl/led standard e26 bulbs.

Easy to install and work as expected.

A narrower beam angle will brighten up the the countertops and vanity more. This is a good bulb for a very small area, like a shelf.

These bulbs have done very well so far. I must admit though that while they are the same watt rating as other GU10 bulbs that I replaced with them, they do not appear to be nearly as bright. I don't think that is because there is anything wrong with them at all. I suspect that it is because these have a 120 degree angle while the others were a 90 degree angle. It is the same amount of light, but spread out more. That is what I wanted. I wanted as much of a flood effect as possible, I just wish that they were slightly brighter in order to compensate. Perhaps DiCUNO or someone will eventually be able to offer a GU10 LED bulb with a 120 degree or more angle and a higher wattage than these. Otherwise, these are very good bulbs. They are bright and provide plenty of coverage in a good daylight temperature. So far I've had none stop working or even flicker.

These bulbs made a massive difference versus the bulbs that came with the light fixture. If I could find brighter ones, I would buy them. But these do the job, are easy to install, and work perfectly.

So far 2 of the 6 bulbs are Dead on Arrival.

These LEDS are awesome! My kitchen is dark but with these bulbs I can see what I am doing. Purchased the "Daylight White" and I am very happy with my purchase. Can't wait for the other bulbs to burn out so they can be replaced with these.

I installed 10 GU10 LED bulbs into 10 separate recess light fixtures. My issue with the original light fixture's halogen bulbs was heat; old bulbs would trip the thermal protection switch. Old bulbs were very hot to the touch. Tried the GU10LED bulbs and solved the problem; LED bulbs run cooler and do not set off the thermal protection switch in the recess light fixture. PROS: the light color is similar to 'soft' white bulb; (the light color is not pure white or blue tint or pink tint). No humming no noise!! Cool to the touch. As bright as the halogen bulbs they replaced. CONS: none.

Like the brightness

Purchased these lights to illuminate my walk-in closet. Made the purchased based on color temperature, brightness, and beam angle. Well, 1 out of 3 is the score. First, these bulbs have a color temp closer to 2700K rather than the advertised color temperature of 3000K. Second, the brightness is doesn't appear to be 500 lumens. I'd give it more towards 400 lumens. Finally, beam angle is definitely very wide.

These LED lights are very bright and provides a clean sharp daylight white. What was also very important was that it was not a "spotlight light" but provided a wide area of coverage, 120 degrees beam angle.Lights are as described and fit the holder perfectly.

WORKS

Ours have been in service in a cooktop hood for about three months. They are a HUGE improvement over the halogen bulb previously used.

I have been replacing all of the the cfl's and incandescent bulbs in my house, with 5000-6000k LED's. I am very happy with the upgrade to LED lights. But this light is not very bright as a direct replacement for a 50w halogen bulb. Wanted to place over my dartboard, but as you can see in the attached photographs, the LED bulb on the left does not illuminate the board as well as the halogen bulb on the right. Was also going to place in the fan in my home office, but once again, they fall way short of the brightness of the halogen. I have to stick with the halogen bulb in these two instances, this LED just isn't bright enough.

These bulbs are perfect replacements for the halogen type that came with track lighting strips. They give a clean white light that has the same spread as their halogen cousins but is more pleasing to my eye than the sallow yellow of the others. They are very bright and need to be used at an angle or a height that doesn't directly face you.
