I’ve been looking about 5 years for an unscented product to replace one no longer made. I rather like the cucumber smell from the juice in the product, and I don’t have to use much. It does work better if I spread it around between my hands and then apply to the hair. I have very long, thick hair, but this shampoo does clean it well without overdoing it.The conditioner has been working nicely as well. I may need to add jojoba oil massage to my scalp for long-term use, as the skin is beginning to feel a bit dry. I have needed to use the detangler (separate purchase) after towel-drying, but my hair is very long (2.5 feet). The combination has worked.The combination of this shampoo and conditioner so far (3.5 months) has worked well for me, washing about every two weeks. I do brush my hair the old-fashioned way with a natural-bristle brush every day.

I love this shampoo. It's concentrated so you dont need to use a lot. It also works up into a good lather. Leaves my hair nourished and shiny. Leaves no residue. Gentle on the scalp and totally fragrance free.

I had such high hopes for this shampoo. The conditioner is truly fragrance free and has just a hint of citric acid smell. This shampoo however has a very strong cucumber smell. It’s hard to see but the front of the bottle has a little stamp that touts the “natural cucumber”. I just had no idea the cucumber scent would be almost overwhelming. It might be because I don’t really care for the smell of cucumber that it bothers me so much? If you too hate the smell of cucumber avoid this shampoo.

Shampoo says it is hydrating but made my hair feel like straw. Total waste of good money.

I am writing this with so much relief that my scalp finally feels soothed. I had trouble with itchy, dry scalp, but oily roots. I am very sensitive to fragrance and was using Free & Clear's zinc shampoo. This did seem to help the skin flaking. But my scalp felt overdried and agitated after using it.This product is very soothing and much more gentle when cleansing your scalp. I am really appreciating the cucumber in this formula; I find cucumber very calming for my sensitive skin and i tolerate it well. I will primarily use this and then switch in the zinc shampoo for more clarity or treatment as needed. I'm very happy with this shampoo. It's been a lifesaver.A lot of people seem to be complaining about the scent but I do not find it to be that bad. It dissipates fairly quickly and is not very potent. I wouldn't say it smells anything like cucumber. It's more of a chemical scent.

This could have been a perfect shampoo if it was actually unscented. The cucumber scent, while it's pleasant sometimes, can be a bit too much on more sensitive days. This is a very nice formula, and probably works well on any type of hair, but wish they made this in an "UNscented" version. Typically the reason why people buy these types of brands, geared towards people with chemical sensitivities, is that they don't tolerate fragrances, scents, aromas, or other unnecessary or overwhelming smells. Hope they make an unscented version of this in the future.

Perfect for sensitive people

I liked the absence of fragrance in this product . I also was happily surprised to discover that my hair wasn't a tangled mess after using the product. My hair was soft, shiny and manageable which is quite different from other shampoo products that I have used.
