Capstone Bike Stand (Fit's Narrow to Fat Bike Tires)

Bike stand works perfectly. Was easy to assemble, feels pretty sturdy. Fits 5-in wide fat bike tires as described/pictured. Time from purchase to receiving it was about 6 weeks for some reason, perhaps they were out of stock or having production issues. Whatever the case, I think these are worth the money if you are looking for something metal and don't have the time / willpower to DIY something out of PVC or wood. These were the cheapest ones I saw on Amazon at $30 a piece.

Needed a stand for fat tire E-bike with 4.5" tires. This works perfectly at the half the cost of other stands. Assembly was easy and it feels sturdy. It holds the bike from front or rear tire with no issues. I will be purchasing another for a non fat tire bike and adding foam pipe insulator to secure the thinner tires. Overall I am very happy with this product.

This product was easy to assemble, and does a good job keeping my bike from falling over.

I have a different stand that I use for all of the other bikes that my girlfriend and I own (29er mountain bikes, cyclocross bikes, road bikes), but when we got fat bikes we needed something different because the wheels wouldn't fit.This is perfect for fat bikes. It easily accommodates even 26"x5" or 27.5"x4.5" tires (about as big as fat bike tires get), and it's quite sturdily built. The tires settle down into the stand, so they are very stable when parked in it.I probably wouldn't recommend this for a road or cyclocross bike, simply because it's so wide that I wouldn't expect them to be very stable inside it. But for fat bikes, I'm not sure I could have done any better.

Would not work on my 20" folding ebike unless I put it together "upside down" so that upright support is leaning back, parallel to front fork. (see my pic). This way the Capstone logo will not be visible on lower tire support like it is on Amazon. If assembled with Capstone logo visible like on Amazon, the upright leans forward and will only work on large diameter wheels.Manufacturer should explain this option... Otherwise extremely pleased! Smart simple design. Heavy guage tubing. Quality fasteners. Great fit and finish. Very sturdy at about 1/2 the price of others. I HIGHLY recommend it. (PS. Best for wide tires, my 4" wide tires still flop a little)

Fit my mountain bike tire that’s about 2.75” wide, may not be ideal for narrow tires

At first I wasn't sure about this rack since I ordered it and no hardware was in the box. I thought about returning it, but instead opted to contact the customer care that amazon recommended. I called and was connected right with a person. I told him the hardware was missing and they shipped it out the next day. Now I have put it together and it holds my brand new full suspension 2.6 wide tire mountain bike great. The assembly was really simple only took me maybe 5-10 min. Highly recommend if you have a mountain bike or fat tire bike. I would opt for something smaller if you have a slimmer tire, however.

Box arrived looking like it had been resealed. Item was used which is fine. But it was missing one section of the rack so it could not be assembled. The item had no instructions and appears to have something from another item in the box. Overall a useless item which had to be returned.

It just works... Assembly straight forward, adjustable rubber feet for uneven floors, keeps my 650b+upright in the garage, what more can you ask for
