Unique Simple Vertical Blind Curtain Solution
This was a simple and great solution for hanging curtains over my vertical blinds. I used the 3M tape and did cut it a bit to allow for the vertical blinds to open and close easily with the curtains. I wish I had known about this product sooner. This is a winner! Opalflowers

So easy and work so well
I recently bought a place with wide horizonal blinds on the (East facing) bedroom window. They look nice, and at first all seemed well. However as spring brought longer days and more sunlight I realized that (even closed) blinds were hopeless for keeping it dark enough to sleep in the early morning. I looked at shades - expensive and would be a pain to raise & lower under the blinds. I looked at curtains in stores and there seemed to be no way for a normal rod to fit around the fairly wide holder of the blinds. Then I found these. The secret is that they use the already installed holder of the blinds to also hold blackout curtains. Blinds are heavy, so the support is strong, and the easily adjusted NOno brackets are firm once the single screw is tightened. Then you just lay the curtain rod (with curtains on it) in the brackets and are done. The only catch is that the blind holder (and hence the brackets) are fairly high and near the ceiling, so you really do need a short Phillips screwdriver to get them properly installed. Watch the video, anyone able to get on a kitchen step stool can do this.

Doesn't get much easier than this
Who came up with this idea? This is great!! I can hang my curtains in my apartment without screws or drills. I've moved and just taken it with me and used it in the next apartment. Super simple and easy. I use a pretty heavy drape and I have had no problems with it.

Super functional, with room for a little improvement
These brackets definitely serve a great purpose, especially if you're a renter and cannot remove externally mounted blinds. I own my home and thought keeping vertical blind then adding blackout curtains would double the light blocking, but I did not consider the amount of light that would still come in on the sides since these brackets stick out about 6 inches from the wall. No stars lost for all of that, as it's just the setup I'm working with. I do however, think that non-slip/adhesive strips should already be installed on all 3 sides of the bracket that will come into contact with the bar of the vertical blinds. It was impossible to tighten the screw enough to feel like the bracket was secure (metal bracket on metal blinds bar) even when using the one tiny piece of 3M double sided tape provided for each bracket. I ended up adding small strips of alien tape on each of the inner 3 sides of the bracket and that made all the difference. This is a small, easy to correct issue that drastically improves the usefulness of the product.
