Inexpensive and cute. I work in an elementary school. The kids are fascinated. I had something similar years ago that were nicer but cost more.

Very cute, but some are defective; much worse: kitten sounds like it was actually hurt
Yes, these are very cute, and they look like what the photo shows. One of the four kittens I received was defective, and two of the baskets had frayed straw and uneven edges. But that is not my main reason for leaving the worst rating (something I don't think I've ever done before). I grew up in a home of professional cat breeders, and played with the kittens a lot to socialize them, as well as watching them play with each other, so I know kitten sounds well. This is an authentic kitten sound, but it is that of a kitten that is frightened, angry, AND in PAIN. It sounds like they probably hurt a kitten to get this sound, even if they just squeezed its paw. That's NOT OK, and so I want buyers to be forewarned. (Kittens are pretty talkative, so a little patience would have gotten them a nice, sweet mew, even if that's a softer sound.)
