1. Year after first purchase.
I have purchased these bulbs 8 or 9 times over the last 1.5 years. I have these and the smaller 54watt. These are good for 25 foot parking lot poles, while the 54 watt are good for walking path lights. In total I have replaced around 50 metal halide bulbs with these paddle bulbs.The consistency in color and brightness is phenomenal. Sure, the upfront price feels high but when you factor the cost of a bulb and ballast you’re around the same cost for just this bulb. The installation is very simple, you do have to do a little bit of wiring to bypass the ballast but it’s also very easy.After 1.5 years they are still going strong being on 12-14 hours a day. A metal halide would be losing its color and needing replacement by now. One of the poles got struck by lightening and blew all the electrical out. I had to rewire the entire pole but the light survived somehow!Overall, well worth the investment. I have been doing 10 or so at a time to keep the cost manageable.
