Stainless Steel Soap Hand Odor Remover Bar Eliminating Smells Like Onion Garlic Scents from Hands and Skin Kitchen Gadgets

I bought one of these stainless steel bars for my mother. She had never seen it before. I told her it is magic. She had a day of cutting onions and garlic, then washed her hands using the bar. Mom called me to thank me because it took the smell off of her hands like magic. I also love the holder that is included. It looks nice at my sink. I recommend this product as a gift or for the sink at your home.

It really does work!!! It will eliminate onion and garlic odors from your hands quick and easy. I do not know if it will work with other different odors like cilantro or fish because I have not tried yet. It does not leave a metal odor in your hand. Of course you have to wash them afterwards with soap and water. It does not substitute it even though it says “soap”. It is certainly safer than stainless steel knives that are traditionally used for eliminating onion ,garlic, shallot, chives and leeks leftover odors from hands. Really I would recommend it. I even bought several to give as gifts.

Doesn't eliminate all the smell. It is very thin, tray kinda cheap looking

I am very sensitive to smells on my hands. I don't like scented soaps or lotions, and I wear gloves when I cut onions because otherwise the smell lingers forever. And don't get me started on what the dish sponge starts to smell like after a while (even the ones that are guaranteed no odor!)! It was after one of these incidents that I saw the stainless steel soap. I was super skeptical, but decided to try it anyway. AND IT WORKS. I can't believe it. My kids and husband definitely didn't believe it until they tried it for themselves, but you can't argue with the results. This was a great impulse buy! :)

This absolutely works! I normally use a scraper to get onions out of my food processor and I use the little garlic press tool to get the remnants out of the press, but when I got this I decided to use my hands. I made sure to have as much contact as possible with the onions and garlic while making dinner. I first washed with soap (which did very little to get the stench off) and then "washed" my hands with this stainless steel bar and my hands were instantly void of the pungent aroma that is onion and garlic. A few days later I picked up a wash cloth and started washing off my counters only to realize it had taken on that funky smell that dish cloths sometimes get It instantly left my hands with that impossible-to-remove odor. I used the bar without using soap first and it took the smell away immediately! This thing is basically a miracle worker!

Did not take the odor out

Admittedly, I was a little skeptical when buying this as it doesn't seem like a hunk of stainless steel should be able to remove smells from your hand. But, it actually works really well. 30 seconds of rubbing your hands with this under cold water, and the onion smell is gone.

I got this when I was cutting a lot of garlic for my dinners. Never noticed much difference. Sanding your fingertips to get the smell out would probably work better. The little stand is cheap plus id rather just have it sit on its own.

This really works, I have used it after chopping garlic and it took the scent away.
