Seems to do the job as needed
I wouldn't normally review such a dull item. However I managed to lose the previous cap in the depths of the car while checking the levels and faced with a long drive to the Lake District went into semi panic mode. However, the combination of this item on Amazon and Amazon Prime meant 20 hours later replacement cap fitted and major journey disruption avoided! Appears to do the job and it's still on there, I think, better check, and try not to drop it this time....

I bought this product after a failed MOT for having this cap missing. I was completely bemused as to how it could have gone missing but none the less, I ordered this cap and it was delivered promptly so I could get my vehicle booked in for a retest.

Broke within a day
Bled my brakes for along journey and noticed my original cap wasn't sealing very well, i ordered this new cap, and headed off for my 600 mile journey. When I got to my destination I opened the boot and noticed the top of it was broken off, and only the threaded part was still on the master cylinder. It wasn't over tightened and broke while I was driving somehow, it must be made of very brittle plastic.

Compatible with a 2019 Mazda CX-5
Item was bought as an outside shot that it fits my wife's Mazda CX-5 2019 model.It did fit.Tight and it needs to be tight to keep the air out and form a vacuum seal.Now, it makes me think that this did not just go missing but was lost by my local Kwik Fit chaps when checking the brake fluid and probably dropped down into the bay.Easily done but nevertheless that is a 45 quid brake fluid needing as without a seal, air will come into contact with the fluid and it will need changed.Anyway, I waffle on. This fits a Mazda CX-5 (2019), did i not say that already?Losing my marbles.Update Feb 2024 - while topping up windscreen fluid, I noticed that the cap was nearly half gone! No longer secure, tight and was about to disintegrate.Shame
