110v appliance
So disappointed that this product can't be used in Australia, we have 240v and a transformer is almost as expensive as the product itself. Sadly had to send it back. Amazon's excellent customer service gave me a full refund plus a very expensive return postage.

Garbage. Steam pot failed after a few uses. UPDATED 3/8/23
UPDATE 3/8/2023The steam pot finally arrived on 3/2. The seller provided a Fedex tracking number so I was able to see it was delayed. The weather in California was probably a factor. The new steam pot works for now. Used 3 times, no problems yet, so I’ll raise the review from 2 to 3 stars. I’ll come back and update. I’d like to give this setup more stars and I will when I’m confident the resistor on the steam pot isn’t going to peace out. In the meantime, I offer some positives as I’m figuring out some good practices with this system…Temperature - you need it up high on P09 to bring things up to temperature. But for me, P09 is too hot after about 12 minutes and I find I have to open the window for a few seconds to modulate. That works, but it’s kinda wasteful and not relaxing. However, if you leave it on a lower temperature setting, it takes forever to come up to temperature and doesn’t heat back up quick enough after you open the door and get inside the sauna. I think this where the remote could be handy-get things steaming, get in, let it heat all the way back up for a few minutes after losing heat from the door being opened, then use the remote to dial down to P06 or P07. (Also, start with hot tap water-expedites everything). After use - I pull everything out except the steam tray (too hot) and the felt pad, partially unzip the door, and let it all air dry. Once the steam pot has cooled enough, I take the lid off so mold doesn’t grow in there (it will) and pull out the felt pad and let it dry.Storing - I leave most things out and ready to go (pot, little chair, etc. don’t take up too much space), but I’ll fold the tent just in half and stow it by my washing machine if I’m not going to use it for a couple days. I found it tricky to completely fold it ALL the way back up into its little carrying case (I could be lazy or challenged but for some reason totally re-folding that thing just eludes me), but you really don’t have to if you have a narrow space you can slide it in for storage. Just fold it in half and it’s flat. No need to wrestle it back to its original shipment size. That way it’s basically ready to go next time you need it, but not set up in the middle of your room annoying your loved ones.Water-tightness - I’ve come to trust the tent enough to use this on my hardwood floor. I use the felt pad to protect the inside from the chair feet to hopefully prolong the tent bottom’s life. So far so good, it’s pretty good fabric. On days I have time and I’m feeling like it, I’ll fill the pot all the way to max and turn the time up to 99 minutes. That gives me time to do 3 rounds of heat/cold exposure. Sauna to cold bath, repeat x3.Overall I like this system. It is effective, puts me in a fever state (usually about 102.3), raises my heart rate, relaxes me, helps me sleep better, all the good stuff saunas are supposed to do. I think I even knocked out a Covid infection before it had a chance to really spread through my system - I sauna’d every day and it just went away after a couple days with literally the mildest cold symptoms I’ve ever experienced. "Symptom" is kind of an exaggeration. When i get a cold, I'm pretty much down for the count, moaning, and miserable, so this was remarkable and the sauna is the only thing that changed. I had omicron a year ago and although it was mild, it still had me in bed for a few days.I’d echo the person who commented about the smells. There are some. I’d imagine they’ll go away at some point. But it’s a fair question - what is leeching front being in contact with the heart and steam? Oh well, eat your antioxidants and keep your fingers crossed till you can afford a real sauna.UPDATE 2/25/2023: After several days of communication, the seller is sending a new steam pot. It took several days because there were clarifying questions from them and it seems you only get one interaction per day with them. Maybe there’s a time difference, I don’t know. At any rate, the replacement is set to arrive on 2/27/2023. I’ll plan to update this further, but for now I’m raising from 1 to 2 stars since they are sending another without me having to go to much trouble. However, they have effectively just dumped more plastic into our landfill without any interest in fixing the obviously burnt out resister I’m seeing on the circuit board. So I have no reason to believe this same thing won’t happen with the next pot.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The steam pot just stopped working. No unusual conditions, just stopped working in the middle of a sauna. Had only used a few times, and I just got it 3.5 months ago. Reached out to Amazon, and they had me reach out to the seller, and I reached a bot. Disappointing and unacceptable. If anyone ever responds I’ll update this, but I’d go in another direction given the steam pot seems to be a known failure point on this sauna.

Love it and it's also great for my cat
My cat has chronic nasal rhinitis that causes a mucus buildup. None of the medications really help. She was on antibiotics for more than a year. But having a daily 20-minute steaming session has done wonders. She can breathe easier, and her appetite is much better now that she can also smell her food. I sit in the sauna with her and monitor the temperature to make sure it doesn't go above 85 degrees. I set it at P09 for 15-20 min BEFORE we get in to make sure it's nice and steamy. Then I drop it to P05 and we get in. After about 5-10 minutes I open the window so that it doesn't get too hot. My gauge monitors temp and humidity. It gets as high as 86% humidity in the beginning then drops to the mid 60's once the window has been open for 10-15 minutes. I open up the door and we sit there for a few minutes once I've turned off the steam so that we can both adjust to the cooler room air before I take her out of the sauna. This has been a life saver for her and it's also a very relaxing and bonding experience for the two of us.

EXCELLENT value for the money!!
So, can I just say that I love my Portable Steam Sauna?!?!! Since purchasing in Feb. 2023, I have used it 2-3 times per week with no issues. I have taken a bit of a break over the last month due to the summer heat being intense!I had been using the steam sauna at my local gym for months. After we moved, it was too far of a distance to travel. My partner and I spoke briefly about building a steam sauna, but that project would cost a fortune! Luckily, I had a friend who had just purchased a sauna blanket for a great price, and this caused me to wonder if there might be an option for me after all! My answer - YES! Not only was I able to save $70/mo ($840/yr) in gym fees, but I can get a full, steam experience in the comfort of my own home! I have my sauna in my garage (connected to my home); with this, I don't worry about the wetness underneath. Plus, it comes with a little "rug," (similar to a moving blanket), which can be taken out and washed! I would recommend you putting plastic down...or maybe a rubber mat if you will be using it in your home...esp on carpet. Also, be careful with the fumigator...it gets super hot!

Who Said Good Things Don't Come In Small Packages!
My son send me a link for a $2,200.00 steam room. He was worried about me being healthy pointing out that a steam bath extends life. The thought of spending $2,200.00 on something that would eventually become a storage closet or a universal hanger for unwanted clothing - like my treadmill, and elliptical machine! So I looked and found the Portable Steam Sauna, read the reviews and saw the price - I decided to give it a try. I love it - but so does the rest of my family - yes - I thought I got it for me - lol. I really like the ability to adjust the temp and duration. I've recommended this to my friends and family and really enjoy it. You really can't go wrong with this purchase. Thanks!
