The Use of Magical Oils in Hoodoo, Prayer, and Spellwork

I read several reviews as well as the description prior to purchasing and it's not really what I was expecting. Nothing wrong with the book it just talks a lot more about what's in specific types of conjure oils vs how to use them, although there's a little info in that.

Grat read, very informative, it was exactly what I needed. I recommend all starting out in Witchcraft, Hoodoo and Spell work to get this book. I think I need it I'm paperback as well as digital.

I found this book to be very informative helpful tips on using oils a good breakdown of many oils and how to use them, I also found spells and working with saints and spirits in this book.A must have for your book collection.

Just wow. This was an amazing read. I'm branching out to oil making and this was perfect. He really knows his stuff. I must also say that it's not just a bunch of recipes, but a lot of good information on hoodoo and conjure work. I learned so much. Thanks! Hopefully he has other books for me to read. My spirit aligned with his teachings.

FANTASTIC book. It is absolutely packed with useful information but it's such an easy read. I read it in one afternoon (because I couldn't put it down once I got started). I have been wanting to try making my own oils for a while now. This book gives me the information to do that in an easy to understand format. I highly recommend this book to anyone that is interested in herbs, hoodoo, magical oils, etc.

Omg. I received my book today! Read it from front to back. I learned alot i didnt know and clear understanding. I perfectly fine and live this book.

This book is a good introduction to the use of Magical Oils. I only gave it three stars as I believe that the author could have said a great deal more. More on anointing and Making these oils, as well as more about solarized oils. However, Its a good introduction to the art.

I highly recommend reading "The use of Magical Oils in Hoodoo, Prayer and Spellwork". This book has a natural way of sparking new ideals to the reader. Gregory has shared his extensive knowledge of the Hoodoo tradition. Change is brought about by prayer and spellwork using oils. I wanted to keep reading. Janna Phillips

There is some useful information here but I felt this is really just a clever marketing ploy for the author's own shop. When it comes to the actual recipes, the author, in his own words, will "never reveal all of their ingredients" hence every recipe includes the words, "and other herbs and essential oils". Huh? So basically it is advised that all the oils can be purchased at his online store. There are some great spells, but alas! Again, the oils are listed not by ingredients but as general finished item to purchase from the online store. This really isn't a guide to make your own magical oils but how to use his in your spell work.

Some useful information but most of the book is more of an advertisement for you to purchase the author's oils with very little info on crafting your own or on creating your own spells or rituals for using them. It's also an incredibly short book. I'm a little annoyed I spent money on this
