The media could not be loaded. To start off, I had tried out a similar ambient lighting kit from another seller and in a short amount of time the lights began to stop working. It also did not have a remote to control it which I disliked because a remote is what I preferred over having to use an app.That brings us to this kit, I purchased the 6 light kit so I could run 1 for each door and 2 for the front center to light up the dash. The lights really look amazing and are super affordable. They do the job and I love that I can change the color or setting of the lights (fade: seen in the video) or theres a few options for it to flash to the beat of the music. Of course you can also have it be a solid color with no flashing.As for installation, if you've done it before its not bad, I feel the most time comsuming part for me was installing the thin fiber optic tube into the hollow tube. The best way to install it as far as I know is to have someone hold the hollow tube and stand at the other end of the tube with it completely straightened out and add the fiber optic tubing into it.I also want to mention that the seller for this product really makes sure you are taken care of. I had a couple issues and the seller not only took care of those issues but made sure I was completely content with my purchase. If you decide to purchase these lights, you are making a great choice!Side note: the foot lighting is the govee brand led strips that I installed. Those do not come with this set.

Photo tube was not inside the plastic light guide. Impassible to assemble thru feet of the light guide. A flexible plastic photo tube cannot be pushed thru a plastic light guide.

Yes, they’re tough to install, but not horrible. I did it myself - maybe spent a couple hours out there. Best to install in a garage or something because during the day outside it’s hard to see how it’s really looking. Perfect edition to my car though. I love it. Great upgrade for the price.

I like the concept and how easy is to install however, the light is not uniform; really bright at the begining and end of the fiber but, it doesn't glow in the body of it.I have 1 door kinda light, the other one is not visible at all. Leds work, I'm not sure what causes that.

Update: The seller has reached out with the belief that the product I received was faulty and has sent me another kit to install, reassuring me that the new kit will work as promoted. I have yet to install said kit as it takes around 8 to 10 hours to do it right in my truck. Updating my rating from a 1 star to 4 in belief that what the seller says is in fact true. Will update again once installed.Original review: As a concept this product is awesome, however, due to the cheaply made electronics, it's basically garbage. While there is a chance that my lights may be a fluke in the production, I doubt it. Install was mediocre, the plastic skirt to mount the fiber optic is flimsy and impossible to stuff in the trim of my interior. Wiring was simple as the 12v source comes with an on/off switch. My biggest gripe is that periodically all of the colors go out with the exception of red. This started happening 2 days after install. Occatjonally i can use other colora such as blue or purple, however every 20 to 30 minutes they will just die, and i am forced to go back to red, which never fails. Poor quality or a fluke, we will see.

Lights werent bright enoughInstructions stated to put light source on one side only, when i did only one side, it was not bright at all.I sacrificed a back door light to put a second light on the other side of the strip only for it to still not be bright enough.The ends were nice & bright but the middle was dim, even unlit.Disappointing to spend hours installing only to have it not work as i wanted2 stars is generous, only got a 2 star because the install was pretty simple, otherwise would NOT RECOMMEND.If i can get brighter replacement lights i would gladly change this review, until then, horrible purchase, spend a bit more for a better product.
