The musk, floral taste linger as an after taste along with a bit of astringency got after 5 minutes of steeping. The taste wanes into a sweetness which is most apparent at the tip and the sweet aromas are felt in the breathe in. This tea can be best enjoyed without sugar or any other additives. not an exceptional tea
This tea, at least the bag I received in October 2018, was quite faded in its flavor. There were very faint hints of muscatel, more like the memory of it. The bag was also ambiguously marked: one sticker said 2016 and another said 2017.
