I bought at the end of May. The key pad is no longer working at the second week of July. Edit: the seller responded with solution.

Product worked fine until 3:30am this morning when I was awakened by an incessant beeping of the safe. It wouldn’t open using the keypad. I assumed the batteries needed replacement. I removed the batteries and replaced them with new ones, and the safe still will not work. You can’t even press the numbers on the keypad. Using the red reset button does nothing. It just keeps chirping away and flashing yellow lights. Very unhappy with this junk. Yes the key still works but I wanted an electronic safe for the ease of using a passcode. I don’t want to have to deal with hiding (and losing) a key. Stay away from this safe.

Decent non-American made safe. Not very high but the description clearly states the correct dimensions. It's not Fort Knox but it will keep the honest from snooping and it will delay the intruder long enough for the home alarm system to activate. It's easily hidden and that will also delay those looking to be where they should not be. Why 4 stars?...It's noted in my first line.

I thought this was smaller but it’s a decent size to fit important papers, files and folders and valuables. It comes with a key but the pin pad works great and uses batteries that came with the safe. Pretty easy to operate and open.

Between misplacing jewelry and baubles and suffering the occasional anxiety attack about the few dollars stuffed under the mattress, life has never been so carefree as since I bolted this great safe onto my closet shelf. Great emotional peace at a great price!

Worked fine for a year, then started beeping randomly in the middle of the night. Key pad wasn't working, so I changed the batteries. Keypad still doesn't work, and it still keeps beeping randomly and flashing the yellow light. Reset button does nothing. Finally just took the batteries out and I'm just using the key. I know it was cheap, but I expected better. I guess you get what you pay for.

The large instruction label on the front is glued on with strong adhesive that will not come off with soap and water. I used other methods. Finally I used common adhesive remover (Turtle Wax Label and Sticker Remover) safe to use on car paint and other surfaces. I have used this often. This time it removed the black paint making the large label area in the front of the safe an ugly gray smeared look I then applied the label remover to all the front to make the entire ugly gray fuzzy look, not the shiny black. I cancelled the 2 other safes I had ordered. My safe front is not a classy black, but an unattractive eyesore. Do not buy the safe unless you want a permanent large instruction label on the front. The safe will not look like the one picture.

Haven’t bolted this to a permanent location yet but I imagine it will fix the warping issue. The bottom is not even due to possible warping or just cheap build quality so it wobbles on a flat surface. Easy to set up. Works fine. Pretty light duty… just like the ones in hotel rooms. Probably east for a thief to break into but I just needed something basic so I could at least remember where my important documents are now that they have a home.

The safe perfectly satisfied my basic needs and no damage on the product. The key pad is working too. It was a great choice for the value and size. The seller is also nice to deal with. I'm happy with my purchase.
