Sonia Sotomayor: A Little Golden Book Biography

I love that Little Golden Books are being made for iconic, inspirational women and men. It’s such a cute book and gives a great little story about Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s journey to the Supreme Court.

Learning basic information on people we need to know

I've been interested in social studies and government issues since I was quite little and I've passed along that interest to my adult children and now to my grandkids. It's important that we all know who our Supreme Court judges are and what they do which is so important in a democracy. Since I'm Hispanic I was very pleased when Ms Sotomayor became a Supreme Court Judge. Silvia's book will help my grandchildren learn more about her and what the other judges on the Court do.

It’s wonderful and inspiring to have this story about Justice Sotomayor in our (3.5 year old) daughter’s library and she enjoys having this book read to her, but I found it strange to have a two-page spread on affirmative action in here. I prefer the Sonia Sotomayor title in the “Ordinary People Change the World” series by Brad Meltzer.

Was not the subject I wanted sent back but the quality of the book was great

Purchased a whole set of these (influencial women leaders) for my grand-niece. She loves them.
