Used for a few years now and still happy with these steps. They are strong when put together and easy to lift in and out the pool. They can be tricky to take apart to store if you don’t want to keep them together but once you get used to it it’s not too bad

This ladder was bought for my 14ft, 5 strut length rectangular above ground pool by Intex. I've included this detail in my review as I was unsure if it would be the right height to clear the top bar. It does perfectly! I tend to put things together without reading instructions and this was easy to assemble independently without needing to look at the manual too closely. Just pay attention to the direction of the feet of the ladder, as there is an order to how they slot together and how the foot plates lay. The ladder was purchased primarily for the children but the safety test was whether it held my weight without coming apart. It did and has continued to do so. I just have to negotiate the width at the top. It's a standard size width, unlike me, but that's not the ladders fault. The foot grips are long and secure, no slips or potential tearing of the pool lining as it covers both the feet and part of the legs. A good purchase, at a reasonable price
