This totally transforms the usefulness of this sander. Like getting a new tool for the price of the pad.

This hook and loop setup for my GV5010 works great - all the sanding pads I have that are hook and loop attach to the face very well and do not come off while using. For anyone who changes out the sanding head for a hook-and-loop setup on the GV5010, the spanner you need for tightening and loosening the spindle is SAE 7/16 inch. You need a cone wrench in 7/16 inch size. Just search for "thin wrench" and you can find a set on Amazon. The spindle is NOT a hex, it is a cylinder with two opposing flats that are separated by 7/16 inch.

Works great. I ended up buying two cause I tore the first one up sanding the house (no fault of the product).

Met expectations to improve disk sanding experience.

Fits good.. just like the description

The fiber disks do seem to last longer but this hook-and-loop makes for quicker grit changes.And a package of hook-and-loop sand disks is a lot cheaper than just one of those fiber disks.
