I love my mini radio. I use it every day during my walk, after a few weeks I recharge it and work like new.

got this to save battery life on my phone as well as data since radio station apps use a lot of data it seems. for something this cheap I was not expecting much. It is not tiny but that is okay with me as readability is helpful...function is simple and easy to figure out. I have not used the headphones since I have better ones so I can not review those. Oddly, many more stations came in on it than my desktop radios. This is important as we live in a rural area and most items struggle to get stations and those that do sound rough. When I travel I like to save the phone charge and data if I am just doing radio stations. This seems to work for that. It weighs hardly anything. It has a big display so if that is helpful for you then....yah....it also lights up so reading this is easy enough I dont need to find my reading glasses. Have not tested how long it goes on a single charge yet. Only plus would be a micro sd slot.....but the price would be more I would expect.

I used to buy the SanDisk Clip for its built in FM radio. 5 to be exact. The trouble is the earphone jack usually failed. The solder tabs to the circuit board would fail even with careful use. I’ve not had any problems with this radio. This radio looks to be made by several Chinese manufacturers but the quality of mine is good both in build quality and performance. The SanDisk Clip also has a MP3 player but I don’t need that feature and never used it. I just needed a small earphone FM radio and this is perfect for me. I like the larger screen too.

FM reception is very good. Having a rechargeable battery is very convenient. Battery life is good. Sound quality is adequate but don’t expect much bass. I purchased an upgraded set of ear buds and heard a slight improvement. Functions are easy to use. My only gripe is that when you perform an auto scan for available channels, it starts in the 70s range so by the time it scans to the mid 90’s frequency band, all 30 channel presets are full. Do you need to tune in to 103.5, for example? Then you will have to scan for it manually, which is a bit of an inconvenience. Overall, this radio is a good value for the money.
