KEEN Men's Newport H2 Sandal

I was very disppointed with these sandals but have given them 3 stars for their solid construction. My feet are a UK size 15 but I use UK size 16 for comfort. The sole length of the sandals compare with other UK 16s but, the upper structure crushes my toes into the toecap of the sandal making them very uncomfortable to wear. The problem appears to be the heel strap which pushes my heel a good 25mm forward from the rear of the sole; making the upper structure a mere size 15. The strapping is not adjustable and does not stretch. Not impressed. These would be excellent UK size 16 sandals if they had an adjustable heel strap (so easy with velcro).

I read from other reviews that the sizing is not accurate so ordered a size 13 instead of my usual size 12. The right sandal only just fitted and the left sandal would not go on my foot, The elastic cording seemed a good idea but it is over the top of straps that do not adjust. It it the first time I have returned goods to Amazon and I was impressed with the speed of the refund I received.

I came to these from cheaper Karrimor copies from Sports Direct. I loved the style, ventilation etc plus the protected toe. I found the footbed took a bit of getting used to. There is about a 12mm heel to toe drop and I found there was what felt like a ridge around d the midfoot. Either my feet adapted and/or the shoes softened and no more problems after a short period. The soles are grippy on everything barring climbing steep loose terrain (they are still okay here due to the wide contact patch afforded by the large sole as they are very wide) and mud. If you live somewhere dry, these could be your only footwear and you'd be good. I've worn them almost daily since November. In winter, just wear thicker socks. Work, gym, with jeans, with shorts etc no problem and I've just done 4 days of the North Downs Way in them (80+ kms). The heel and forefoot is wearing, but grippy rubber wears out. They provide traction in wet and dry conditions. The sole isn't Vibram but it is a very good compound. The uppers are still like new. Nothing has frayed or come loose. They are tough.

Good quality walking sandal which looks and feels really robust, like it will be very durable. Supremely comfortable and lightweight once you have got it on, with an easy drawstring to set the tightness. I have only given four stars due to the fact these feels a little tight, I would have gone one size larger had I realised, but I already have another pair of Keen summer walking shoes and these were on the generous side, so felt confident buying my own size 11. Another minus point is they are very hard to get on, as the rear ankle strap is not very elastic; these would certainly benefit from some means of adjustment, though I stress that once they are on your feet, they are very comfortable. These are good for moderately rough terrain and have already used them for several full day outings without any problem, proving to give good protection, while also being very flexible and giving good grip on all surfaces.

Fit perfect for size ordered. Definitely comfortable as i have arched feet and cannot wear flat shoes and sandals. Quality product and good for everyday use as well as outdoor adventures in wet terrain. Bought the keen Targhee sandals and they are so far the best for hiking and drier conditions. 10/10🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I wanted a sandal I could wear both on land and in the water while paddle boarding, I found it quite difficult to walk from the shore into the rocky bottom of the lake in bare feet. An old injury made it difficult to walk barefoot. I did a little research and discovered these , they are ideal , very comfortable, durable, lightweight and various sizes available . Value for money item and still quite stylish, easy to use and dry off .

Well pleased with the quality. Perfect for wider than usual feet. Size runs slightly small in terms of length.

El producto cumple perfectamente las espectativas que tenía en el antes de comprarlo. Es un calzado súperversatil, que sirve lo mismo para hacer trekking por sendas o caminos (no rocosos) como para meterlo en el agua. Se seca muy rápido y es muy cómodo. En mi opinion todo un acierto comprarlo. Aunque su precio sea mayor que el de calzados similares de otras marcas, su mayor calidad hace que merezca la pena pagar esa diferencia de precio.
