Great family movie

I highly encourage you to watch this movie. It is a very family friendly movie with a great storyline.

My grandkids enjoyed this movie!

I liked the story of the young boy determined to fulfill his dream of winning the prize and saving the farm. His innocence and lofty ideals are well presented and superbly acted by a great cast and skillful director. The cinematography is top drawer as well, genuinely beautiful!

Great classic movie; never tire of the "can do" spirit of the main character!

This is one of my favorite movies ever made. Plot is simple and there is plenty of action and adventure to keep one entertained.

This is a classic Walt Disney feel good film about a young, driven lad, who battles through adversity in a very hostile environment, to take part in a sled dog race.His epic journey is spectacular and the sled dogs are the real starsGood wholesome family entertainment to watch on a Sunday afternoon.This film has no sexual content and no bad language. There are a couple of very minor fracas between Will and a competitor and one incident where two dogs fight but otherwise, it is suitable for all ages.

The opening shot of this film is particularly spectacular. Iron Will as he is called decides to enter a very rugged race with his sledge and dogs. This all takes place in 1917. He is trying to win 10, 000 $ for his mothers farm to be saved. Can he over come all the obstacles he will face ?. Can he win this race ?. This is a must see film of one young man and his dogs facing the rugged out doors and the very harsh weather. I give it 10 out of 10. Its also beautifully filmed. All the actors play their parts so very well. My view, a really damn good film that may well take your breathe away. PC. 30. 12. 2017.

I enjoyed this film and viewed it prior to letting my grand children watch it. I think younger children would find it hard to understand but is excellent for older ones. A true story about a 17 year old whose father had died - leaving his mother and family in financial trouble. He also had been offered a place at university but now (financially) unable to accept. Hearing of an international dog-sledging competition with a high money prize - he decides to enter - determined to win. I won't write any more - you will have to watch it.

As I love watching movies with Dogs and this one did not disappoint. I really loved every minute of watching this brilliant film.

Fantastic film, based on a true story. A young man takes on a huge dog sled race, to save his widowed mothers farm. Great performances (Brian Cox, David Ogden Steirs, & Mackenzie Astin in particular), terrific photography, with a really heartwarming story, (the sort of human story Disney can do in it's sleep). Watch it, you'll enjoy it.
