Cheaper and effective replacement for genuine part
A lot cheaper than the Sage supplied item. Seems to work fine. The only reason for a 4/5 is that the embossed numbers on the month 'usage' dial are white on a white background and virtually impossible to read when in the water tank. The original Sage part has red or black numbers that can be easily read.

Problems with second filter
I know the sage coffee machines are notorious for be fildly getting them to work after you change the water filter but the second of these two has given me hours of problems trying to get the coffee machine to work with it in. I have never had this much trouble before and can’t work out why.The machine works fine without the filter in it, I won’t be buying these again

Didn't work with the sage barista pro
The machine didn't work with this filter. The machine doesn't draw enough water from the tank. I put the old filter back and it works fine. I noticed the diameter of the hole is much smaller than sage branded filter so maybe the flow rate isn't enough.

This filter chokes the machine as the flow is too restrictive compared to Sage filter.Avoid
