I WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY SMART MASCARA. JUST APPLIED IT ONCE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME AND SINCE I WEAR GLASSES IT CAN BE HARD TO SEE THAT I AM WEARING ANY MASCARA, MUCH LESS WITHOUT CLUMPING OR SEPARATION OF GROUPS OF LASHES. (we have all had that happen to us right?) "NOT ANY MORE." IN FACT I HAD TO BUY 3 MORE PLUS A COUPLE OF OTHERS FOR GIFTS. I COULD NOT KEEP THIS FROM MY FAMILY OR MY GIRLFRIENDS, JUST HAD TO IT SHARE WITH THEM. ISN'T THAT WHAT WE DO WITH GREAT "FINDS", THAT MAKE US LOOK PRETTIER AND FEEL BETTER BECAUSE WE LOOK NICER?THANK YOU FOR: TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY SMART MASCARA. I bought this with feedback from my mom, as I prefer products that are suited for sensitive eyes. I am hoping the one I received was just an old batch, because I find it hard to apply (dryer than usual), and I feel that it makes my lashes appear flaky. I can deal with the fact that it is harder to remove than other mascaras, that is actually a bonus, as my product I was using before was extremely easy to "cry" off. After reading reviews on this product, my experience was not comparable. Also, shame on me for ordering this one, as I was unaware it was a travel size. I personally will not buy again, but hope to find something that suits my needs in terms of sensitivity, staying on, and overall "wow" factor.

I was hoping the container would be bamboo but it’s plastic made to look like bamboo. Not what I was looking for.

Ordered travel size to try out product since recommended by a friend. It doesn't go claggy (clump) on lashes. Each lash is separated, even with repeated coatings. Have to admit I use as a base coat (2 coatings) then finish with a volumizing mascara but since the base separates the lashes, the lashes are still separate when I apply a couple of coatings from another mascara.

I originally bought this because it's a less toxic option than other mascaras on the market. Overall pretty happy with this mascara. It separates and adds volume without being too clumpy. You should definitely do two coats. I also tried the Tartiest Tart mascara which is a bit better bang for your buck. I like both of them though.
