I recently installed a large TV and ran the cables in the wall. One of which was this audio cable.I actually used it as an extension for my IR repeater which allows me to operate all my electronics from one IR receiver eye.The cable was long enough and sturdy to reach up through my walls, into my attic and into a closet in another room.The shiny slick surface made pulling the cable easier than a cloth covered cable that would have snagged or kinked on the internals of my building.

I am using this product to extend a digital temperature sensor probe by 25 feet. Works great!

The perfect size for what I need. Sometimes, the sound fades out if it gets giggled.

I ran this cable for future use with my IR Blaster. I added smurf conduit from my AV center to my exercise room while the house was under construction. Now that I have moved in, I installed all the equipment in the great room, but I will wait a while for my savings account to recover before buying another big screen for the exercise room. I needed to pull the cables before installing the custom AV cabinet that will house the equipment for feeding both screens. As a test, I hooked up these cables going to my Great Room TV and IR Blaster ( I just ran them along the floor). They worked fine for two evenings so I went ahead and pulled them through the smurf cable leading to the exercise room. It will be a few months (or years) before I actually get to use them.

Great cables so far. Impressed with the sound, seems durable, and particularly like the way the plug almost clicks into place and holds on. My last set of cables (which these replaced) had the habit of unplugging every once in a while with a little bit of tugging. These hold remarkably fast. Very happy with them so far and moderately priced. *** Update: Changed rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. Have bought 3 or 4 of these cables so far; 1 still works very well, but 2 seem to have become defective pretty quickly within say, 6 months. It's like something breaks internally and loses 1 channel of sound. It seems like it might be the connection near the plug. It's a good price, but not sure if I will buy another one or just buy a more expensive different brand and hope that it lasts longer.
