One way I judge turmeric supplements is by its color, and the turmeric inside these capsules is bright, deep gold just as a quality turmeric should be. I take these capsules to fight general inflammation rather than pain, so it is difficult to assess just how well the supplement works in my body, but nevertheless I am very pleased with these. Not only is the gold color deep and bright, according to the company's listing, this particular turmeric supplement "leverages Meriva curcumin phytosomes, a unique curcumin extract which has been shown to provide up to 29x greater absorption than ordinary curcumin." That sounds great to me. Each capsule contains 500mg of turmeric. The Momentus company recommends that you take two capsules every day for a total of 1000 mg per day. There are 60 capsules in this bottle so it will last one month. My only suggestion for improvement is I wish the label indicated where this supplement is sourced and manufactured. Overall, though, I am pleased with these.

I like these, but I have no idea if they do what they say. I take turmeric based on a doctor's recommendation backed up by some research.Tumeric supplements remind me of buying a roof. You spend a ton of money on something that yes, you really do need. But you never really get to enjoy it. You know it's up there doing its job but you don't get much enjoyment out of it.I know the turmeric is in my body and it may be doing something positive for me so I keep taking it. However, if I take it or don't take it, I don't notice much difference.I can recommend this version of Tumeric based on the quality of the capsules. Some companies have partially filled capsules and the inside of the bottle is a mess. These are not like that. The capsules are clean and adequately filled. If you take Tumeric, this company makes a fine supplement.

This is great curcumin. It's just pure Meriva curcumin phytosome (500mg per capsule, and 60 capsules per container).Meriva is one of the highest bioavailability curcumin available, clinically studied for pain relief, and my personal preference for joint health (although I like Longvida for cognitive benefits).There is 1000mg curcumin per 2 capsule serving, and this is a great dosage that aligns with published research. I typically divide it into 2 servings, 1 capsule at night and 1 before bed.Overall, if you're looking for a high bioavailability curcumin extract, you can't go wrong with this (or any Meriva curcumin).

Turmeric is now widely recognized as a superb anti-inflammatory because of its prime constituent - curcumin. It can fight various ailments such as skin issues, digestive, infections, etc. We try to incorporate turmeric into our cooking but it's difficult to get an amount that is having a big positive effect. My wife based on her research would sometimes make a paste with black pepper and turmeric and heat that with some olive oil as black pepper "activated" the curcumin and made it better for absorption. Such supplements are way easier. I've been taking it for a month and so far so good. Tough to quantify the physical benefits of a supplement by a layman like me, but no negative side-effects. I think this is a safe and easy way to get powerful anti-oxidants in one's daily life.

I am hopeful this is a good product, although I did not do any testing myself. The color seems right, I did notice some different tons of orange but I am no expert. Do your research for the benefits of turmeric. It is too early for me to say I am noticing anything but hopefully it works.Edited 10/23 - I recently learned that black pepper enhances the absorption of turmeric and that this combination is wildly utilized. Please note this bottle does not have black pepper but they use a patented form of curcumin called Meriva and they claim that the body process it better.

If you're looking at turmeric supplements, there's a good chance you deal with inflammation or respiratory/joint issues. Well, from my experience it's worth the hype. I love the flavor of turmeric in food (Indian food is amazing!) but it's hard for me to get a sufficient dose of turmeric consistently.With a serving size of two capsules, this provides a 30 day supply at $1.17 per day. That isn't cheap, but if turmeric helps what ails you, it's still a bargain. I wasn't familiar with the Momentous brand, but I like their packaging. I spent a bit of time looking into them and liked what I found.So far, no upset stomach or other issues adding this supplement to my daily regimen.

I received this item for free from Vine. I’ve been taking turmeric for inflammation for about 6 years now for my pcos. I switched to this for 30 days and noticed it didn’t work as well and I am glad to be back on my regular stuff. I checked the ingredients and found that it didn’t have BioPerine/black pepper extract - Turmeric/curcumin isn’t easily absorbed by the body and black pepper extract makes it more bio-available. I also noticed it was half the amount per serving as my regular stuff (so I’d need a double dose to match) and is $10 more expensive for half the amount (my regular is $20 for a 60 day supply vs this being $30 for a 30 day supply). I wouldn’t have gotten this if it wasn’t free and will not consider purchasing it in the future.
