Good work again. A lot of research work is put into this book.
Good work again. A lot of research work is put into this book. I was waiting for the book. This is one book that will help if we want to reduce distraction from your life and give yourself the best chance to live your life to the fullest. Good hacks provided by the author and these are very useful. Some of the hacks we already might be knowing but it will re brush. So, worth reading. Also, we can be members of the Author's Indistractable forum and share your hacks to reduce distraction from your life. I like the 10 minutes hack the most. Thanks, Nir, It was good work.

Incredibly helpful!
Indistractable makes for a fascinating, insightful and helpful read. Nir Eyal’s deep and detailed understanding of why we’re distracted makes it easy to address distraction. It helps normalise distraction as a human tendency v/s a flaw that we need to work on. He explains with patience, dexterity and research how distraction is not a technology issue rather a problem within us. Nir offers simple, practical and effective tools to manage distractions. The tools helped me create spaciousness and improve productivity. The solutions he offers are sustainable. I’ve been able to break unhealthy habits and develop healthier ones. That has helped me prioritise what matters to me in life and work. It's helped reduce the sense of guilt, self-blame and failure that comes with distraction. The piece on kids’ overuse of technology is fantastic. The best part is that most of it applies to adults too. Through the book, he shares powerful, convincing and actionable methods to cope with distraction in the modern world. That makes this book delightfully practical to apply and experience shifts. Like that he’s sincere and amazingly earnest with the knowledge he shares. His knowledge comes from deep and wide research, not only his lived experience. Most of what he shares in this book was fresh and new to me. If you’re keen on reducing distractions and focusing on your dreams, this one is a great pick!

Super read and most important self help book for today
I had been watching u tube all the time when I made new year resolution to break the habit. Applying these principle helps . Helps you avoid common mistakes we do while trying to avoid devices on our own. Who can explain it better than who have designed some of the addictive features , refer hooked by same author, good read if you are product manager. Step by step guid to follow and control your addiction. It is journey from “I can’t “ to “I don’t “. Make it ur decision rather than compulsion. He breaks the puzzle from inside as he know which features keep us engaged, which feature leverage our tendency to avoid complex task and jump on to phone. If u know how to leverage human behaviour to induce addiction , this author can give you panache to break it too. Overall very good book if you want control your addiction. Those who need simple to read on this topic yet great alternative, try blisfulness by Nandan Nilekani. If you are looking for productivity at your workplace I would recommend “A world without Email” by Cal Newport .

A novel perspective to a very ubiquitous yet under-recognised problem.
This book provides a novel and quite interesting ways of dealing with distraction in our day to day lives. I was feeling this pressure of distraction while acquiring a new skill within a really short span of time and my struggles with distraction really dampened my spirits. So I turned to this book to see if it can help me improve my output. The four key take-aways - Master your internal trigger by surfing the urge and 10 min rule, Remove external triggers and replace them with things you want to do, PIE (Price, Individuality and Effort) pacts to gain traction and lastly Timeboxing the time even for distraction. I will not say I have become completely indistractable but I have embarked on a journey with the help of this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is on a journey to work upon him/ herself to become better version as each day passes.
