Springfield Leather Company's Buffalo Leather Strips (1", Black)

I used this to add a passenger strap to my aftermarket motorcycle seat. It was perfect for the job. The picture doesn’t show it well, but the only thing I wasn’t expecting was for the leather to have a mild gloss to it. It blends fairly well with my seat, but I just figured I’d point that out to anyone looking for something that’s not glossy at all. The material was easy to work with and perfect for my needs.

My new concert uke was a bit hard to hold onto since it's so small. Bought this leather strap to keep it from sliding around. It's a bit stiff so I wrapped it around a small pole to break it in. Works great, definitely elevated my uke playing skills. Thinking about starting a band ...

Worked great for making handles on my closet drawers. I was afraid when I cut the leather that the ends would be raw but they were black. Easy to work with, easy to cut with a good pair of shears. Perfect width for my use!

I mean, its leather.... right dimensions, right color. I rated the item as a 2 because it was stored and delivered in a coil so when I unraveled it, there were a bunch of wrinkles in the leather. I needed a smooth finish, so I had to get the belt from Tandy Lether where they hang their belts to keep them straight and without defects. If youre using it for a finished product, like a belt, dont get this one.
