Q: We've recently purchased the simple key, but have trouble finding someone to cut the key for us. in dayton, ohio.

This product unfortunately makes it much easier for someone who borrows your car or has occasional use of a car to steal it. Fleet owners should be aware of this product - making any user of one of their fleet vehicles able to cut the key and program it themselves, unbeknownst to the fleet owner when the vehicle gets stolen. Immobilizer systems are designed to prevent vehicle theft. I will cut the keys for these ONLY when the registered owner requests it and proves ownership. Simple Key destroys the layer of security provided by key cutters and locksmiths requiring proof of vehicle ownership when it allows ANYONE to buy it. Is it simple for owners? Perhaps, but unfortunately also simple for anyone that ever has access to your car to make THEIR own key. Should not be allowed for sale to the public and only leads to more complicated systems for us professionals to deal with when you lose your keys.

Q: I have a 2007 jeep grand cherokee, in europe, italy. is this kit compatible, i mean by the radio frequency used in europe: 433mhz (not the 315mhz)?

I used it with my 2007 Jeep Commander, registered in Switzerland and it worked. As far as I know the Jeep was imported from the States, so I do not know which radio frequency is used.
