Ugly black coating
They are good quality but those wanting to use decoratively, be aware that they are not metal black. They are coated black. I’m going to try to scrub off the black coating to get to the dark metal but was planning to use for shelving. Can’t now.

Would Buy Again!
Used these pipes to make shelving for a closet. Just use a degreaser to clean them and spray with some flat black Rustoleum and you can’t go wrong!

Gorgeous!
I bought these pipes, flanges and connectors to use for an industrial-style entertainment center I am building. They look awesome! I still have to trim out my shelves but here are some pictures of the pipe part. I would definitely buy them again if I do another industrial project.
