It's ok but not all that

I was looking for a mount that can be vertical and horizontal, however, not as easy as I expected

After using for a few weeks. I noticed after I moved it. It left indentions on dash board at top of air vent. On my Model Y. I have tried to rub it out. Hopefully it will look better later after the sun heats the dash board up overtime. Don’t buy.Update. Marks are starting to fade away. They are still present. Seller refunded my money. I’m waiting for the weather to get a little warmer. So the dashboard can warm up. Maybe they will go away then. I hope. 2nd picture is the update picture.2nd Update. As the seller told me. The dashboard will get exposed to the sun. This will help the dashboard get its form back. 3rd picture is the update photo.

I really liked this mount as it seemed the best at stability ease of install and non-destructive. However, after having it mounted for a week I moved it and it made a slight dent on dash. I removed and after a couple of days the dent faded but keep it that in mind. I really like the way it mounts so will keep and just move it around so I don’t mare dash.

If you have a model Y and like to have your phone left of the cars screen, this is the mount for you. Being able to adjust the exact location left to right (there are some dead zones where it will not fit the air vent) is a huge plus for me. It would be nice if the arm was slightly longer raising the phone holder even a few mm would help fit larger format phones like the s21+ The phone holder itself works well holding phones even in heavy duty phone cases well. The first few weeks of use the phone holder was so grippy it was hard to remove the phone at times, I've either gotten better at removing my phone or its not as grippy anymore. Still holds firmly in place even on 0-60 pulls. Bonus can be relocated to the passenger side when needed.

For those who don't want the phone mounted from the screen. It does leave a mark when removed that should go away after a few weeks.Holds the phone well but rattles sometimes over rough roads when no phone is held.

It doesn’t stay well where I want it to, more to the left of my dash, because of the slight curve in the dashboard so it randomly pops off. Had to move it more towards the steering wheel but now I cannot see the phone because the steering wheel blocks it. The phone goes in & out very easily though

This is a good option for Tesla owners. I have good visibility of my phone on the dash in between my steering wheel and the screen tablet. My only cautions about the functionality are that you can’t angle it very much, so, if you’re charge cable is in it gets Pressure from the lower dash – underneath the holder. The cable kind of bends a bit. Also, the side brackets are very flimsy and don’t hold my iPhone 12 pro very securely in the holder. It does easily fall out of the holder.
