The best air conditioner.
I bought this frigidaire 10,000btu ac for my Birthday (the gift that keeps on giving). I have been running the air conditioner for a month now and it is as quiet, doesn't rattle like some other store off brand air conditioners I use to use.The Bluetooth does work great, You have to add the Frigidaire unit to your WiFi network. It is a little tricky at first, eventually figured it out.Since the ac is in the bedroom, I only need to set the temp at 73° or 74° for a cool nights sleep.It doesn't take long for the room to cool down.The Bluetooth is a great feature. I tested this on my day off. I set the ac to automatic turn on at 3pm at 74°, when 3pm rolled around the ac kicked on as my Bluetooth request,Now I come home to a cool bedroom.I highly recommend this air conditioner 100%.update 5/29/18Every time the electric goes out at the apartment or a down internet the Frigidaire app gets 'lost connection' then when the electric and WiFi come back on I have to delete the air conditioner from the app account and do the set up process all over again which is a pain in the neck, the air conditioner app never reconnects when it suppose to automatically. The Frigidaire website with the question and answer: states; if power is lost to the entire house, your router will be disconnected from the internet as well, thus disconnecting the appliance. The good news is that as soon as power is restored the appliance will automatically re-connect and function normally without user intervention. If you are connected and running at the time of the power loss, you may receive a connection lost notification.Everything is a 5 star except for the app. I wish Frigidaire sends an app update to fix the issue.Update 11/2019 year and 7 months later the compressor is making an annoying noise which makes it hard to get to sleep. So, I put the fan on only which doesn't help with lowering the temps. It is still hot here

Powerful and beautiful A/C unit.
Awesome a/c unit. This thing looks beautiful, has an energy saving mode that I keep it on at all times, and a remote control to turn it on and off from bed. Cools down my apartment in 10 minutes or less. Downfalls would be noise (it’s pretty loud but I like the white noise) and the WiFi/app is impossible to set up.

Short Life-Span
Purchased in April of 2021, this unit wasn't working correctly from the start. We were living with my in-laws upstairs & purchased 2 different units to keep it cool. This unit was placed in the bedroom which had a door & was less than 200 sqft. We tried installing the app, which is absolute garbage & does not work. We had to set the thermostat to 59 degrees to get the room down to and keep it at 70. I called tech support on a day off and was on hold for over 45-minutes, so I just figured we’d keep operating it as we had been. It was louder than I thought it would be & sounded like something was rattling inside. We used it from April until when we moved out in June with no major issues besides the rattling & the inability to adequately cool the room. After we moved out, we kept the unit installed & my in-laws set the thermostat to 80 just to keep major heat from building up. The called me in August saying that they smelled something from downstairs. They went upstairs to find the unit was smoking and immediately unplugged it. They asked me to take it since it wasn’t working properly & now it’s in my garage. 4 months of poor AC isn’t worth $400. The most annoying part is that I’m past my window of return so now I have to take any issues directly to Frigidaire. I’ve been on the phone on hold now for 33 minutes and haven’t spoken to 1 real person. This thing is fairly heavy & inconvenient to keep moving around. I don’t have a box, most of the paperwork, or the hardware & thermal tape. So now I have a bad AC unit that I can’t just throw in the garbage because of the refrigerant inside. What a treat. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!

Great overall expecially looks but lacks in smart assistant intgration
first ac came in damaged with im assuming the compressor damaged and leaked the freon out after a painless return process except for fixing the box to return it in ( like 5 $ of tape lol ) received replacement before i sent in the damaged one ( as a result of box disintegration upon opening ) put it in cut the panels to fit and looks and work beautifully the only reason i give a 4 star instead of a 5 stars is as a result of the smart functionality i love the schedules that part works 100% perfect however voice command by Alexa or google assistant is definitely lacking i mostly used google assistant since that is my preferred assistant and about one out of three times it works otherwise it says i don't recognize that device or it says power controls are not possible since you need to use the " Frigidaire app " so you have to say hey google ask Frigidaire to turn on my ac which works okay when it responds properly but changing the temperature is rather clunky " hey google ask Frigidaire to change my room ac temperature to 72 degrees Fahrenheit " which works sometimes and other times it wants to know the temperature you want again and i mean its easy enough to walk over there and do it but they should have worked on the integration much more since it is defiantly lacking and that is a major selling point here now the looks of it are amazing worlds beyon the standard window ac and truly looks good in my room which i can defintitly not say about other ac lol overall it is an wonderful product they just need to work on the assistant integration better also it would have been interesting to have included a power meter / tracker into it and you can put in your average power costs per kWh i think that was a missed chance but hey that can all be integrated at a later point im sure so you never know :)

Wi-Fi not working. Remote not working. Huge disappointment.
My mother is 90% paralyzed. The fact that she can control things with her voice through Alexa is a blessing, so every time I seek to purchase something, I look something that can be voice controlled through Alexa, which was the case for this AC unit.Once the unit was installed, I proceeded to power it one using the remote control. To my surprise, the face plate is not sticking. Further, I suspect the battery is dead, although I cannot check this unless I go buy another battery. It's either that or the remote is faulty. So I powered it using the on/off switch of the unit itself.Next and most important, I proceeded to link the unit to our Alexa ecosystem. The Android phone can connect fine to the AC, but then a stupid flaw in this app, it ask you to enter 7 or so fields (name, address, what not...) after which, when you're done, you find out the AC disconnected by timeout. At the 3rd attempt I simply entered bogus infos to get it done quick, then you see the AC detect the SSID of your Wi-Fi router, select it, enter password, and.... timeout with a network error. I tried about 10 times, then tried with my own android phone: same result. After an hour and a half, I gave up and called support.The lady said the unit was in storage too long and that the PKI certificate expired. They offered a rebate for the missing Wi-Fi feature, but I refused since it is the most important thing needed from that unit and why I purchased it. Now because of this coronavirus thing, they won't send someone to repair and they don't want the unit back, so they offred a 100% rebate, which sounded sweet at first, but I realized it is not refund.- First, the taxes and shipping are not included in the rebate.- Second, I have to buy another Frigidaire/Kelvinator/white-Westinghouse/Gibson & Tappan AC of equal or lesser value. The amount paid for that unit shall be the amount of the rebate I will receive.- Third, I have about 4 to 5 weeks to make the purchase.- Fouth, I have to mail them the new model, serial number and invoice of the new purchase along with serial tags of the current unit (which is a sticker not made to be removed).- Fifth, I will receive a prepaid debit/credit card equal to the paid amount for the new unit.I cannot find in Canada another Frigidaire AC with Wi-Fi (looks like I got the last one?). So I want the ability to buy from another manufacturer, which means I want a full refund, not a less than what I wanted AC. But these company, once you give them cash, they never NEVR want to give it back. They'll give you rebates, vouchers, but never refund. That's not flying with me.Fortunately, I'm a Prime member, so maybe I will have better luck through Amazon. If that does not work, looks like I will see Frigidaire in small claims court. :(Think twice before you buy. These things might better be purchased in a conventional store, maybe.

wifi connection awesome !
My house is cool now ! Little loud. The wifi is awesome I check while I'm at work the temperature in the house (for my dog) and crank it up on route home to walk into a coll home!

As an hearing impaired person, my hearing aid is more amplified so as a result I found it to be noisy even thou it is one of the quietest on the market. My roommate totally loves.

Damaged goods
Not very happy with how the product arrived. There are multiple large dents on the unit. Installation is a bit of a nightmare as well, especially if you have a window that opens side-to-side and not up-and-down.
