Excellent.
I put this thing on my 22 mag. It has a 3-9×32 scope on it, and without the extra 1/2" height the light (clamped to the scope) would illuminate the front of the barrel while hunting at night, blurring out the scope. I put my light in a "high" scope mount on top of the rail on this clamp, and now it's crystal clear while looking through the scope in the dark.

Pretty nice overall
This is a nice addition to my rifle. I mounted it directly to a one inch scope. The only complaint is that the reducer insert that fits inside the ring to make it fit a one inch scope, did not work. I only received one piece of a two piece adapter. I did make do by using an insert that came with a dash cam mount for a rear-view mirror.

I used this adapter to mount a red dot reflex sight atop my 8-32X50 for targets under 100 yards. Adapter mounted securely on the scope tube and works great.
