Backyard Sports Football: Rookie Rush

I bought this game so my son can start understanding the concepts of football. This is not a "Madden" game. Basic football, with preset passes/ plays. It also has kid features only they will love, such as "Stinky Pants" or "Ice Cream", which make the players on the other team lose focus. My 6 year old likes it so far, but I can tell he will be tired of it soon.

At first, the game seemed ridiculously fast-paced. My son quickly didn't want to play it and said it was weird. I told him to give it another shot. After playing it a second (and third, fourth, etc.), he ended up liking it. I suppose with a little patience, your child too will enjoy it.

My son (10yo) got this game for Christmas and really enjoys it. He was also asking for a Madden game for DS, but they are hard to come by and very expensive, so the Backyard series has been great at filling that void. Was a great choice for a beginner football game on DS...was easy for him to learn on his own and he has played it a lot in the past week.

My son asked for this for his birthday. He is a big DS fan and even more a football fan. However he grew bored of this game rather quickly.

My 10 year old brother loves this game (he recently got his nintendo DS and he loves football). Very fast shipping and item came in brand new condition.

Great game. Purchased for my son. He really enjoys this game. Has several games from Backyard Sports. Would purchase again.

Good Starter football game, my son liked this game he is 9 years old, easy to learn would recommend it.

I bought this game for my son's 4th birthday. I had looked at many games and worried that he wouldn't be able to figure them out. It took hiim only a few days to figure out all the logistics and now he's winning all the time!! Great buy for a young child.
