Gore In Venice

For a review to refer to this as a hardcore porn film is ridiculous. It does have one graphic masturbation scene involving a male, and several scenes of explicit female nudity, but no hardcore sex scenes. The violence is very disturbing, but the special effects are pretty fake looking. Personally, I think this is a better than average giallo. It's certainly over the top, but not dull the way many giallos tend to be. But certainly be warned: this is not for the easily offended.

First of all …..this is a pretty brutal giallo film from Mario landi. And to say it’s just a hardcore porn is pretty much a lie. It’s more like soft core than anything (except for the movie theater scene) which only shows a male appendage. But overall…it’s really not a bad film, AND it does have a plot. It’s a film that a lot of folks would consider too graphic, but it’s not the worst giallo.

Without giving it away, which is impossible, this rates as one of the worst 'giallos' I've ever seen.It's pretty much a straight porno movie. Hardcore porn, too.I was pretty shocked to say the least. I had the blu-ray of this when it was released maybe 5 or 6 yrs ago in the UK, and suffice it to say I got rid of it right after I watched it. It's not just that it's porn, but it's bad porn with no plot whatsoever. And the scenes drag on and on and on. Just when you're wondering how much longer the scene is going to last, it goes on for another 10 or 15 minutes.If you love giallo, avoid this like the plague unless you need a bad 70s foreign porn movie in your collection.Pure rot.

This movie surprised me. I like the way it's presented. For horror/giallo fans, it's pretty cool.
