AM/FM SW1-6 Shortwave Radio
I like this radio as I don’t have to use my sound system at home. I can carry it when I’m in the garage or in the backyard as I listen to a lot of sports talk show hosts that I normally listen to inside my car. Got to listen to the latest sports updates to keep track of players.

Reasonable
Not quite the quality I was looking for, but adequate for casual use.

Love it
Very happy with this radio. I was going to use it camping this summer but fell in love with it and I'm using it daily. I Bluetooth my laptop and my phone to it. So easy to use and nice sound. Thinking about getting another one.

This radio doesn’t appear to need any source of power
I’ve had it playing for 3 days with no batteries or plug in power. I don’t understand it. 5 stars

Decent radio
I wanted a portable radio with shortwave bands also works fine with good sound and this was it for me. It's an 8-band radio with AM, FM and 6 shortwave bands. It has a Bluetooth selector also for Bluetooth, USB and SD card usage. It's got pretty decent sound, nothing to really write home about. Radio reception depends where you're at & the position of this radio. FM reception is good, AM reception is so-so and shortwave reception is only fair....but to be fair....my other portable SW radio I still use is a 12 year old Sony portable radio with 7 shortwave bands and its reception for SW is just like this unit. So, no biggie. It can play USB MP3 devices and SD cards also....very nice idea. One major drawback I quickly noticed was the Function knob has NO detents/clicks when you're on a radio band or the bluetooth selection and basically have to "hear the sounds change" when you got onto another SW band or radio bands. That's cheap. Tuning light, lit up tuning dail and a detented function know are needed to make this a much better radio. Otherwise a fine radio, looks retro also....cool.It has an adjustable carrying handle and also has a telescopic FM antenna also. Volume and on/off knob is together as a single knob, good retro idea. It also runs on batteries if you lose power. It's got a headphone jack too....it works good.Overall.....I would say that this portable radio works for me alright whenever I'd lose my power and want to stay up to date on local news. The few issues I have with this portable radio are all minor.3 stars.

Hard to tune and keep the station; sound quality pretty good for what it is.
This would be a nice little radio if it wasn't so hard to tune in the station you want to hear. It was very difficult to hit right on the station and we were always picking up other stations. The tuning knob is very touchy and not that precise. It is worse than old my old transistor radios from the 1960s.We live in a city with lots of radio station. If you lived somewhere where there weren't many radio stations you might have more luck in tuning in the station. It does have a nice big speaker for a radio that size. Sound quality is clear and loud, with some bass. Like the tuning knob, we found the volume knob to also be a little touchy. The sound quality is much better than a similar sized radio from Coby. But, the Coby radio has a digital tuner and pulls in the station you want.We really wanted a radio like this had a rechargeable battery, which is why I bought this. I was tired of going through D cells. This radio has rechargeable batteries but can also run off of D cells in case you are ever in a situation where the rechargables die and you don't have somewhere to plug in the radio to recharge it...such as camping or a long black out in your house.

Appareil multifonctions

No lleva Bluetooth!
