GildanMen's G230

I don't know who's to blame, but I have been ordering these "Gildan G2300" "Ultra Cotton" pocket t-shirts from EVERYBODY on Amazon trying to find the old/original/correct versions. I JUST purchased some about a month ago, so I know they exist! This vendor (3rd. Street Brands) specifically had these listed as 6.1oz. weight, which is exactly what they should be, so I ordered them. Just received them and they are NOT the proper thickness!! These are noticeably thinner and approximately 5 oz. fabric weight. They have the GREY TAGS in the back. The 6.1 oz. shirts have WHITE tags. I have no idea what the hell is going on with these Gildan t-shirts, but having worn them for many years now, I'm really pissed that they decided to make such an inferior t-shirt now and have the nerve to still pass it off as the same "Ultra Cotton"! The new ones are also smaller and cut differently, so caveat emptor!

My husband loved the shirts when he first wore them. Perfect fit. However, I gave 4 stars because they did shrink a bit after washing/drying. He is still able to wear them pretty comfortably but if they shrink at all anymore, he will not be able to use them.

The shirt was perfect! Before I washed and dried it :( I wish manufacturers would pre-shrink the fabric. I am tired of reading reviews that say that things don't shrink, so I buy them...and then, low and behold, they shrink! I am not going to hang dry a t-shirt. Just not gonna happen.

These Gildan 6.1 oz T-Shirts are excellent. The material is just right and definitely not like cheap see-through T-Shirts you see about everywhere these days. They tend to fit somewhat large so it's best to just order the size you wear, especially since they don't seem to shrink after washing/drying. The pocket is very sturdy. The overall quality is excellent. I've bought four of these in different colors and will be buying more. They are built to last.

Although I would've preferred sleeveless T's, these are great for my job requirements. They fit comfortably, plenty of room without being TOO big, the fabric breaths on HOT summer days, and they have the chest pocket which is important for me.Still wish they would make these in sleeveless in my size with the pocket, then I would've given it 5 stars.

These shirts fit just right. I am 6'6" and 265 lbs. With Gildan I do not need to buy tall sizes (which are hard to find at a reasonable price). Some reviewers state the neck can be a little snug but I do not think so. It is tighter than most but while wearing I think it looks better. Not uncomfortable. 2X is what I get and I will buy more.

I purchased 10 Gildan orange t-shirts from a very well known super center 5 years ago. I cut all the sleeves off because of it being hot and they have lasted me well.The current t’s I just purchased does not feel as heavy duty or quality. I think the company has changed hands or something. I will not purchase again.

Gildan Ultra Cotton tees aren't perfect. At their price point, they can't be. But they are the best t-shirts out there because they usually fit consistently true to size, the neck opening isn't too big and the sleeves aren't ridiculously long. This review concerns my size only, which is medium.

With a shirt matching the color of punch, I wish I had ordered more.Perfect

Well made fit well pocket is nice size nice finished ends of sleeves . Will buy again.
