A great value, with unlimited sound potential.
I have several XLR mics and audio interfaces for my podcast and YouTube channel, and I am have used many USB condenser mics over the years as well. I wanted to test out a USB Dynamic mic, but didn't want to buy the cheap-o brand, and didn't want to buy the very expensive brand either. This Presonus fit perfectly in the middle, so it was worth a gamble.I also have both Revelator audio interfaces, so I was familiar with the software behind these devices. But I was curious to see how it integrated with the Dynamic mic. I'm happy to say that you can basically fine tune this mic much like you would with any other PreSonus interface or pre-amp. The only difference is, you can simple just plug this right into your computer without needing another device on your desk. It's semi plug and play if you want. But then you can go into the software and setup your four presets, which are accessible from the microphone itself. You can also adjust the gain right from the mic. Very handy!I'm very happy with the mic, and it will be put to the test for my next few podcast episodes!

OMG I LOVE THIS THING!!
My podcast was suffering with bad mic quality after iTunes discontinued the Bossjock podcast software. I'd used 19" studio rack mounted gear prior to that, with expensive mics and patchwork software. This mic solved all the problems. Try to find the Youtube of Sweetwater's extensive review of this product. It comes with software that is fully configurable and works so well - it's really shocking how good this setup is. To top it off, the company has a TON of amazing Youtubes on How to for Studio One recording software...which is also included - with a ton of great plugins - for FREE with the mic!!! My only complaint is that the cords going into the bottom sucks very bad for the desktop stand that they include. They need to come out the back because this setup is terrible. But that is the only negative I can say after using this for about the past 15 shows of The 12-Step Buddhist Podcast. Check it out, the sound is great because of this mic!

Grat device but horrible software
I love this microphone as it is nicely made, solid and well built. Although it has some flaws.First of all the connectors are on the bottom, which is great; but the base is very short so I end up often bending the wires; which add stress to the connectors and I imagine in a bit this will take a toll on the connectors that will break. Not sure what was the deal to make the base a tad taller. The other problem is the software: not Studio One, which is awesome as DAW; but the software on the mic itself. When you plug it in it does not remember the last settings; so you end up with the effects always enabled, no matter what, and need to explicitly turn them off every time you plug the mic (you can say let it plugged in? That would work if I had enough ports, but I need to swap the USB-C port with other devices, so I just plug it when I need it).Beside those issues, the mic works great; and there are a lot of interesting effects to use and settings, but the training material/manual is totally useless. I can see why this mic is heavily discounted, but that does not mean that it is a bad mic; as it works great.

Excellent sounding USB mic with simple set up
I've used quite a few different USB mics over the years and most of them have sounded not so great, especially right out of the box. With a bit of tweaks, some of those mics sounded ok. With the Presonus mic, I didn't have to make too many adjustments to sound what I considered to be good. The software is incredibly easy to navigate and understand. Overall, this is my favorite USB mic I've ever used.

Processing noise.
Out of the box i did hear some processing noise, and the software wasnt very user friendly. There was almost zero latency when using headphones. All in all, its a microphone that does what it needs to and will suit alot of people, it just wasnt for me.

New Favorite Toy
It's far from being a toy. Great quality. Sturdy build. Love the raw sound and processed sound. Comes with user-friendly interface software. I have two of them. I use it for vocal recording, zoom, and podcasts.

Great mic, that will not work
The whole experience with this mic was really amazing, until it suddenly stopped working after 3 month of not that active usage.I mostly used this mic for video calls and recording from time to time. Today I discovered that it no longer connects to any of my devices and doesn't show any signs of being "alive". No lights are flashing, the mic is not visible in the Universal Studio application.Although it was amazing when it worked, I can't recommend buying one, since the risk is way too high and I'm not the only one who faced this issue.Go with trusted brands instead.

Bang for your buck
Easy to setup, the limiter is quite harsh so i recommend turning that down if your audio is clipping in and out often, but overall such a great mic. Was a bit skeptical about usb c microphone since im coming off of a xlr, but it was definitely worth the change for ease of use and cables.

Nada del otro mundo este Presonus
Micrófono a buen precio pero no me gustó la calidad de grabación. Mala estabilidad de la base de sujeción y dos botones frontales que por situación se pulsan accidentalmente más de lo debido. Devuelto sin mas

Worst Investment. Just a toy microphone
This microphone has a load of settings but there are two problems with it that renders it useless. The playback has crackling sound regardless of what settings you use.The recording has crackling sound regardless of what setting you use.The software and the hardware is seriously underpowered. Invest in pro-audio gear if you are an artist and want to record.

Top Preis-Leistung!
Dass ein USB Mikrofon so nah an den SM7B herankommt, hätte ich nicht gedacht. Für Nutzung direkt am PC absolut zu empfehlen! Bin begeistert!

Disappointing
The noise floor on this mic is not good, by 12 o'clock on the gain there is already noticeable hissing - you can set gates and filters in the software to try and mitigate the issue, but at that point it just feels like patching over a bad pre amp and the gain is super noticeable everytime the gate lifts. I may have a faulty model as when using the main channel I only seem to be getting left audio, which may be excaserbating the above issue. The noise rejection is also pretty terrible, again relying on gates to try and counter this doesn't work because you end up hearing everything once your voice opens that gateThe sad thing is the vocal quality is actually pretty decent, but the issues ruin the potential. I was hoping to replace my XLR setup with a simple decent usb mic, but this has not been a good first step

Le meilleur micro USB du moment
Très bonne qualité sonore (grâce à la chaîne d'effets intégrés indispensable)NoiseGate Compression EQ...)Très sensible.Attention aux bruits ambiants (ventilo, clavier...)
