Exhausting Work for Young and Old
What could be better food for your children than cupcakes? Don't think that cupcakes are one of the major food groups? Then tell them if they want cupcakes they will have to bake them themselves! My oldest grand daughter is starting to help her mother in the kitchen, so I decided to accelerate her learning experience by gifting her with this delightful book. I thought it would put more pressure on my daughter, her mommy, but she welcomes her children being creative. The book is a delight to look at for kids and adults because the artwork is very appealing and will certainly motivate any child. If you kid doesn't respond positively to this book, better rush them of to a child psychiatrist to see what traumatic experiences they've had in your kitchen. Perhaps you asked them to help you with the dishes or something else as terrifying! Get this book; your kid will have to cook for him or herself someday anyway! Baking cupcakes and then decorating them will wear you and your kids out, so make sure they help you clean up afterwards. But if they do bake cupcakes, make sure they know that they must brush their teeth afterwards. Perhaps by then they will move on to another food group.

Beautiful but not so tasty
This book has great, beautiful decorating ideas but I don't love a lot of the recipes themselves (as far as how they actually taste).

Waste of money
I was very disappointed in this book. There were absolutely no instructions whatsoever, only pictures. I could have gotten those off of the internet for free!

Cake decorating
Beautifully illustrated book of cakes, cupcakes & cookies. Good information and techniques. Good quality book and I'd definitely recommend it for beginners and advanced decorators.
