Torrential rain bring it! the drencher jacket works Great as stand alone rain gear or in a system layered approach. Drencher gear will keep everything on the inside warm and dry, while repelling rain, sleet, and snow. The drencher jacket is constructed of quiet, soft polyester brushed tricot. The jacket features Rain Blocker technology with waterproof, windproof, breathable technology which is impermeable to outside moisture, while allowing perspiration from the inside and dispersing it through the membrane system. Garment seams are heat sealed and secured with waterproof tape. The material is treated with S3 silver anti-microbial technology which helps to inhibit the growth of odor causing bacteria. The jacket offers an adjustable 3-piece hood with separate interior adjustable collar, full-front zipper with storm flap, (2) lower snap flap covered pockets, grommet rear license loop with harness slit, adjustable hook and loop wrist closure and a draw cord waist.

Recommend a long sleeve shirt under as the nylon lining gets a bit clammy.
I haven't had it out in a downpour yet, just mild Western Wa. rain. Kept me dry while being supple and quiet. Nice to have long enough sleeves for 6'2 250# guy!

Works for me
I just wore this for the first time. Have the coat and pants. I spent 1 1/2 hours in the cold rain feeding cows. Part of that time was spent sitting on a wet tractor seat. I stayed dry. I am very pleased. I will now wear this with confidence when hunting or whenever else I need to stay dry.

Drenched
I liked it until I got caught in a downpour. It’s the Drencher and I was the drenchee... rain penetrated after about 30 minutes and then it was over from there.

Consider one size smaller
It is a quality item, unfortunately much larger than advertised, should have gotten a size smaller than ordered.
