Q: What the point of using this if I have to go to the bathroom and empty it immediately after nighttime use?

Second floor bathroom + bad knees = can't make it to the toilet in time. I keep it in the shelf over the kitchen sink. I grab it, pee in it, and pour the urine down the kitchen sink. Then I rinse it, and put it back on the shelf. Urine, contrary to what most people seem to believe, is not dirty. It's just water with some minerals in it. I know this because I used to be a laboratory technician and I've looked at hundreds of urine samples under a microscope.

Q: Does this unit tip over easily? I need to be able to sit it down before safely emptying it.

You will need to be very cautious, the unit can easily tip. My 75 y/o ailing mom did great until the last night of our trip when she set it down and it tipped over onto a rug in a home we were visiting. Best to use urinal and immediately dispose contents without sitting it down. Luckily it was a throw rug.

The PP-Aid holds 700 ml. The average female will releases between 400 and 500 ml of urine so it will be large enough.

It’s solid plastic. It has a little bent of a bend from its thinness but it’s nothing bendable as say something made with silicone. It does the job great though
