I purchased 10 cameras for production plant and installed around August 2022. Today about 2 years later I had to remove 3 of the cameras not working. Poor quality for the price. I expected to last much longer compared to brand name cameras in the same price range. Good quality picture and easy set up.You get what you pay for.

I tried this camera out to potentially install in a high-hazard area.It's not very well documented. I hate devices that require a separate utility to download, but since I didn't have direct access to the router at the time, it actually came in handy to pull the IP (The default IP/subnet was not available to this device).However, I've had it connected with a short patch cable directly to the main switch (Aruba 48port POE) and it takes forever to connect. What's even worse is that after 20 min to 1hr, it goes offline and never comes back up. I've had to restart it via POE power-cycle several times. When I get back in the office, it's going back and I'll buy a better brand.

I used this camera for my pool since I put a cover over it. Just wanted to see if anything gets under it. It was a snap to setup with Synology Surveillance Station. Had it working in 5 minutes. I only used the camera software to change the password but it was easy to use and found the camera right away. Picture quality is excellent, better than some of the higher end Crestview cameras I have. I haven’t put it underwater yet and it looks like I’ll need to use some hose with a pipe fitting for the POE cable. I would have liked to put the connector inside the camera so the connector would be inside the housing but it doesn’t look like there would be room for it. Haven’t tried to open the housing to check though and don’t really want to open it so I’ll have to get some hose and a fitting for it. Looks like 1/2 NPT.

Took me a while to even figure out what 12vdc power adapter I could purchase and use since it didn't come with one and didn't explain or describe which exact adapter tip and amperage would be fine. I even tried asking the seller 3x about how to power it. The instruction manual says you can contact them about any questions but it doesn't even list who to contact and how. The seller only told me, plug to power adapter and ethernet and use. Not easy to communicate with. I couldn't find assistance from the manufacturer either. Since this is made in China its not easy to get support. Omce i crossed my fingers and purchased a 2a 12v Dc power adapter with multiple tips, since i figured it needed a 2a 3mm or 3.5mm adapter tip, i got lucky and it works but not sure if its the correct amperage since my sound doesnt work good at all on this camera. I downloaded the phone ap camhi instead of setting up online and the ap seems to have many camera settings for free but still, i like my cameras sound to work good these days. I turned the volume settings up all the way and still sound is low, delayed and intermittent. I think I can only hear it a bit when I record and use the mic button and not just I'm viewing or recording, seems one way. When i ordered this, i was mislead seeing a vehicle and seeing car in the description thinking this was a dash cam but it is an explosion proof ip camera that companies can use. Not sure that it is worth the high price but does seem sturdy and i like that i can use it on my phone ap.

This camera works on POE as advertised so the buyer that gave it 2/5 stars just didn’t realize what that means and clearly doesn’t have much experience with network cameras.It’s powered by ANY of 1,000,000 Poe switches sold in US lol. Worked perfectly for us on our Hik NVR
