Interesting and informative
It was fun to see what parts Darwin considered spare and to learn what their actual purpose is according to modern medicine. Parts got a little pedantic for me as a non-scientist, but not so much that I wanted to stop reading.

Poorly edited
The author avail herself of every opportunity to bring up racism . She found racism and articles from the 1800s. She was really out to prove a point . Totally unnecessary. Also the version of the e-book which I was reading was chock-full of typos , and poorI structure. I left just as I hit the halfway mark in the chapter about teeth . Started off very interesting and then settled into, what I feel, was a lot of copy and paste of other documents. The fact that she had a third of the book donated to footnotes and citations tells me that she didn't do a whole lot of research on her own. Please don't waste your time
