Cost effective way to get power from a distant outlet to an RV
I wanted to install an RV outlet. However, I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars to do so. I saw this RV extension cord and decided to install the RV outlet next to the outside panel and then use this extension cord to get power to the RV by teaming it with the RV's original power cord. The cord has a heavy jacket and is perfect for my needs. It was also much less expensive to purchase this cord and install the RV outlet farther away from our camping trailer but next to the power panel. It would also be good to carry for those rare times when a campground's power pole is too far from the RV to be able to plug in directly. The only thing I would suggest is to cover the connection if that is done to keep water and dirt out.

Real deal - don't get suckered by longer cords and cheaper prices
6awg wire with 8awg grounds. This cable meets spec. Don't mess with those using 8 or 10awg for the power lines. They will get hot, voltage will drop, and things sensitive to low voltage will get angry/fail.I bought 4 (only needed 3). LOTS cheaper than running 6awg from my box all the way back to the opposite corner of my house. Yeah Yeah... not a good idea, but it works. Now you can see why it was so important that these meet spec... :)

both are 90* bent ends and it makes a nice solid connection that is harder to pull apart
Economically priced for me, I've used it a myriad times, and it allows me to put my generator in front of the nose of the RV when out boondocking at social camping events. I also use it to plug the RV into the garage, as I'm about 40 feet away in the driveway, and this works well with the onboard 30 amp cord... both are 90* bent ends and it makes a nice solid connection that is harder to pull apart.... Nice quality wire/cord and super decent male/female plug ends.... thinking about buying a second one! I really like this extension cord!

Heavy duty
The power cord seems very heavy duty and a great addition for my RV. The carry strap is garbage and frustrating to use. It seems like it holds the cord securely but every time I pick it up, it comes free and releases the cord.

its and extension cord
I had to order this extension cable twice and why I'm giving it just 3 stars. The first one when I opened the box had a large nick in the outer casing with some of the stranded copper cables frayed. Obviously this is not safe so I had to return it and order another one. The second one came in time so I could plug in the trailer before we left for our camping trip.

GoWise RV Power Cord 25 Feet
This is an excellent choice to extend the electrical cord for your RV/camper. Very durable and strong 6 AWG wire at 25' in length. Unfortunately, the purpose I bought this for (directly to the camper from the power source) did not work so I am using it for an extension. This is 30 AMP male to 30 AMP female standard plug on each end and will not fit directly to the camper. With 90° ends, it makes it easier to plug in and out as well as make more secure than a regular plug. I would definitely purchase again.

Good power cable, cheep carrier strap
Part of m y reason for selecting this power cord was the strap carry handle. I am happy with the cord but the carry strap is poor design and construction. First it is short requiring the user to not bundle the power cord in a tight coil. Once I got the hand of storing in a larger coil the carry strap is difficult to fasten and comes undone far too easily. I should have stayed with my old velcro carry strap.

Good quality
Nice heavy-duty cord that should last for years. The handles make it easy to push in and pull out. The only thing you need to make sure of is that you have room for the handle to hang down a bit from the plug. We had to retrofit it and it wasn't fitting flush against the plug because there was a ring around the plug and the handle prevented it from plugging in completely.
