Works great at covering greys. You have to cover your head with a shower cap or something plastic under a towel otherwise it doesn't work. The instructions aren't clear. When I first used it nothing happened, so I tried covering my head and voila! I leave it in for about 40 minutes. I retouch every 2-3 weeks. The colour starts to fade after a couple of weeks, so my greys end up looking like copper highlights - I have received quite a few compliments. I like this dye because there is zero damage to my type 4 natural hair. The only thing is that I wish it were cheaper. Luckily I am only grey at the front so one bottle lasts a long time because I use it only where it is needed.

I really love this hair colour it’s very difficult to get hold of and is generally very expensive however as amazon gave me £5 off the price plus free delivery it was very welcome. Honey brown or ( cedar red brown) is hard if not impossible to buy nowadays. If this procduct were available at an affordable price for me it would be a repeat order constantly. It gives grey hair a unique colour. 👍

I applied the liquid to my hair, waites 30 min then rinsed with cool water. The greys were not covered. I also pulled out a single strand of grey hair, dipped it in the liquid, and 30 min later rinsed the hair. it turned almost completely grey again

This is my second time using this same bottle. the first time it washed out in the first wash lol so i tried it again a week later and left it for 45 min. It should have been 2hrs because it washes out almost right away even though I got jet black. The second time i didn't do all my hair just brushed it back wet and only applied on the top so underneath was still the old bleached color which gave a cool highlight effect. My natural hair is very dark brown. I've used permanent jet black before but always ended up lightening it so wanted to try something that wasn't permanent. This definitely won't cover anything for more than 2 weeks but it's a good trial color if that's what you're wanting. I used lukewarm water to rinse it after application like the other review said. I'll update once i do the first wash out

As a temporary colour I expected that it would last atleast 3 weeks and it did. I gave bit a 4 as my Grey's at the front started show after 1 week. The rest of my hair was fine.
