I didn't know if my cat would like it, but I put it together one night and the next morning, I saw this (see photo). However not all windows are alike. The metal hooks did not work for my type of window, so I had to rig it to where it would work well enough. (my window seal was not deep enough) This particular window is high off the ground, so it is safe to leave it unlocked. I had to stuff towels and other material around it to make it secure enough to hold when i closed the window. She doesn't sit in this window every day because I think she would rather have a window seat that is more solid. This will do until I can install a wide shelf around the window.

I searched and searched and read and read all of the reviews and was afraid that I would once again waste money buying something that either didn't work or that the cats would just ignore it...BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! My cats absolutely love this window perch and have NOT left it since I get it installed last week!!!! They fight over it!!!! I suck at putting things together plus I have ADHD so I will say that I had to have help from my boyfriend to get it put together but I COULD have figured it out..just would have taken me more time. It's VERY sturdy...both of my cats are pretty beefy, big cats and they have laid in it together and jumped on it from a close by table top and it hasn't budged. The thing I really like about it is it works with the window open or closed. During the day, I can open the window to let my kitties smell all of outside and hear the birds and at night can close it. They've been in it day/night!!!! If you are wondering like I was, I can promise you that this one works. I was hesitant of the suction cups...this one rests against the wall so there's no way for it to fall if you have it put together correctly and tightly. I hope your kitty loves it as much as mine!!!!!!! ^~^

I had to design window brackets that would fit the double pane windows to make the Perch work. My cat loves it (without the padding) and uses it every day. I think the design should include more types of brackets in the package to fit the one that works in the window frame. The one provided is not practical because it's not thin enough and it doesn't adjust to the constraints of the window frame. Otherwise, my solution to adapt it worked great.

Our little girl doesn't like change. She came to us at 6 months after 6 foster homes. It's been more than a year and she's finally deciding this is her forever home so I expected it to be a couple weeks before she would try it. I was wrong. As soon as I had it assembled, which was easy, I put it in the window and she jumped into it, flopped down, and claimed it.

We really wanted to like this window hammock, but upon installing it, we realized that it would break our window frames. We just built a new front room addition (aka "Catio") with Pella vinyl windows. The hooks fit the frame perfectly, the window could still close and lock, BUT... as soon as I pressed down on the hammock, we could see the vinyl frame start to bend. A 15-20 lb. cat jumping onto it certainly would have bent or broken the frame. So, we had to return it.HOWEVER, everything else about this product looked great. The frame parts seemed sturdy. The hammock material felt and looked durable. The assembly was fairly straight-forward. The instructions were basic but understandable. The parts needed were all included (plus 1 extra washer).Although we had to return it, we would purchase it again if we had locations with wood or metal frames to install it. If considering ordering this product, keep in mind that the lower braces serve as a fulcrum - a pivot point from the hooks to the outer edge of the hammock. Make sure that whatever the hooks are going to attach to can withstand being pulled outwards with 15-20 lbs of weight. As long as they can, then this product may work great.

My two fur babies love their window perch. We have a bigger one in another room but they both like to cuddle up and sleep on this one. It is very easy to clean/wash and easy to install. I will buy another one so there is one perch in every room. 😀

I love this window sill seat bc it allows my indoor felines to enjoy and sniff the beautiful breeze outside while keeping them safe inside. I have two cats / one is 10 lbs and one is 14.5 (the Persian pictured) and it works wonderfully for both. Well built, used it so far for 9 months. Easy easy easy to remove and reattach every day! Also easy to clean if need be.

The color matches my walls perfectly, and I was concerned the suction cup hammocks wouldn't hold. Watching my two cats trying to shove themselves on this to birdwatch, probably a good call. It was easy to put together and does seem pretty sturdy. My criticisms are that I bought the large, and it still doesn't hold both my cats as you can see, ha. And I wish the white cushion was attachable to the hammock instead of just free sitting on top. This totally works the way it's supposed to though!

Purchased this item after reading other reviews. Product came on time, assembling was easy but the hook does not fit in my window. It needs some other strong anchoring point/device as the hook itself is not enough. The wooden support at the bottom is not adequate if the hook slips off the window.Not able to use it as the weight of my cat causes the hook to slip off easily. My cat refuses to use it as she is nervous after her first wobble n fall.

My cat loves it. Feels sturdy and very easy to move between windows. So glad I purchased it.

The perch is great. Very sturdy and my kitten 6 month old loves it! It’s easily removable and easy to assemble! I bought a second one for another window!
