best black color
i’ll admit i’m a cosmetologist & this is the best black i’ve put in my hair. i’ve been using it close to a year and there is zero convincing me to try another color

Disappointed
I was super excited to try this product but I was left very upset. I NEVER write reviews but I had to just make this known. The Blue Black hair hair color faded AFTER THE FIRST WASH. There was no blue anymore and I was devastated. My hair has also been falling out and shading more than I’ve ever seen it even when I box dyed my hair from any cheap box dye in the past. Wish I could get a refund but product is already used and I’m left here with my hair falling out.

Love the color!
The color is very pretty! The ends of my hair were bleached with purple on it, and the not my my natural dark color. The dye darkened my hair nicely and made the ends a pretty navy blue! My hair is pretty long so I had to use 2 full boxes, the dye was pretty thick. I was afraid I wasn't saturating it enough. The process time was pretty short, not much smell to the dye. It didn't stain at all! It wiped right off my counter top and sink! No staining in the shower either. I was very surprised! This is the first dye that didn't stain anything! I will definitely purchase again!

Not enough product!!
This is a great at-home color kit but so disappointed that I needed 2 boxes to cover my whole head! If you have thick hair or a lot, consider buying 2 boxes. I ran out a little more than half way through my head.

I just dyed my hair and it looks great! And soooo soft after using their repair mask for 5 minutes. I think along as you follow their directions your hair will turn out great. My hair is naturally black and I used the blue/black color dye it came out as just black for me although maybe once out in the sun I'll get a better look at the possible blue presence. Either way I wanted my hair black and this color just was available for faster delivery than their regular black. I'll see after a few weeks how long it lasts. I expect it should last like a month before my few greys start popping out but I'll see.
