LIke it a lot, but its not perfect.
I like the case a lot, but:1. Good fit, except the buttons are now too sensitive, and are triggered even when walking. I am thinking of cutting out the button covers, which will be easy and should improve things a lot. This problem is not unique to this case by any means.2. I also am not thrilled that the belt clip only rotates 180%, and does not allow placing the release clip on the bottom instead of the top when you rotate the phone. This is a bigger deal than you might think, because it essentially takes both hands to release the phone - 1 to hold the holster and the other to release the very stiff clip. If the case rotated fully, it would only take one hand to release the phone if you use the middle or index finger to push the clip.3. I wish the back of the case wasn't so slick. If you put down the phone in the face-up position, it had better be on a level surface. Otherwise, it's going down.

overall - buy this and you're good to go!
The Good:good case, fairly easy to hold onto and manipulate bigger phones due to the exposed TPU sections and the hard plastic protrusions on the back. the camera lens is safely recessed and all ports and microphones are accessible. the glass screen protector is legit too.The Meh:the backmost surface, being hard plastic, is rather slippery - helpful for pocketing, not as much for staying put on tables/etc. a grippy foot (and maybe elsewhere) on the kickstand would be nice for inclined surfaces since this thing can prop itself up, but still slides. The belt holster is pointless unless you are into that sort of thing. It has a felted interior to protect the screen when holstered, nice feature, and the clip also functions as a prop. The bummer is that the phone can't be holstered screen side out, which would allow the holster to be more versatile, used in the car/etc as a mount. Another oversight here is that the moto G5+ only has a front facing speaker, getting slightly muted when holstered face in. Lastly, for some reason (from images that have now disappeared perhaps?) I thought the screen protector would have different cutouts, so that only the necessary parts would be uncovered. Instead, as you see in the lo-res picture I took, cutouts are U-shaped, leaving some of the phone's glass exposed.Quality control problem - the kickstand is supposed to click closed. while this barely worked at first on the case I received, it no longer stays closed at all. whenever I pick up the phone the stand falls open. not a big deal, but now I have to get creative with some epoxy to fix it.This is my second case of this design. All four corners of the old one broke off from falls over the course of a year or so. I almost tried out a different case for the moto G5+ because of that, but so far the corners are intact. Even when they do break, the flexible TPU underneath still provides some cushion.how big is the case itself? dimensions:L= 6 1/8"W= 3 1/8"T= 5/8"

Nice for the price.
I ordered this at the same time I ordered my Moto G5 Plus, so I'd have a case and screen protector right at the same time I received the watch. It was very reasonable for both items. The case isn't very attractive (which was actually a draw for me....it looks tough), but it's nice to have the accompanying belt clip (which I haven't even used yet). The screen protector was a nice addition, in theory, but it was very hard to apply....there is no margin for error....mine was edge to edge, no case-friendly gap, and it left a little clouding around the entire border of the protector. I tried to lift the corner up a bit to straighten it when it was going on a bit crooked, but the adhesive smeared and really looked bad. So now my phone is in a different case, with a different tempered-glass screen protector, but this case will be good for when I'm doing something outside that might make me want more rugged protection.

Be sure to check/cut out the microphone hole.
As the headline states, next to the charge port should me the hole for the mic, mine came with it still filled and partially preforated. A small pocket knife and a steady hand took care of it easily, but is overlooked for those who don't actually talk on their phones. Also a couple of days in, it has torn in the center of the charge port. I have only charged this phone 3× since i received this. A little super glue fixed that. That may have been because of the microphone cutout issue. I am a prime member and ordered this the day after prime day, it took 5-6 days to arrive, back order, which was expected seeing how this phone flew out of Amazon's warehouses. It is a snug fit, and yes, the buttons do become way sensitive. As another reviewer stated they may cut those out, i may do the same. For 10 bucks, with a free glass protector which was easy to install, no bubbles. Not a bad case. Don't try to use one of those magnetic car mounts as the case is too thick. It doesn't catch. Unless you want to deem the kickstand unnecessary and stick the plate directly to the back of thiscase.

It's not an Otter Box, but it's a whole lot cheaper.
The belt clip hold securely to the belt. The telephone fits firmly into the belt clip. In fact, it fits too firmly and is difficult to remove from the belt clip. I need to use two hands to unclip it from the belt clip. This is because the actual clipping mechanism is a plastic part of the belt clip rather than a separate spring loaded piece (as had been the case on an older Otter Box belt clip I had with my older phone). Also, the screen protector is not a continuous protector, but rather one of those that you stick onto the screen of the telephone. I had some misgivings about that since I'm not sure how well the adhesive of the screen protector will come loose whenever I replace it. Also, this configuration renders the protector somewhat less protective overall.
