If you love your buns this is the hay you’ve been looking for looking for
This is by far the best Timothy hay I’ve purchased for my rabbits. The 1st cut is exactly what I was looking for — long, green strands with lots of fiber to keep their digestion healthy. It smells super fresh right out of the bag, and my bunnies run over the second I put it in their hay rack. What I love most is the consistency and quality. There’s very little dust, and it isn’t full of hard stems like some other brands I’ve tried. It’s clean, fragrant, and my rabbits actually eat more of it compared to other hays, which gives me peace of mind knowing they’re getting the nutrition they need. It’s become a staple in their diet, and I’ll definitely keep ordering. If you want happy, healthy bunnies who actually enjoy their hay, this is the one!Bonus: it’s packed nicely laid in the box with care and contains a generous amount inside.

Bunny’s FAVORITE hay
Tried all the popular to fancy to store quality brands, Viking Farmer has remained my and my picky bun’s favorite. When I first reviewed it on Chewy last year, I was surprised there werent more raving reviews. Thrilled to find it on Amazon now. It’s so green and luscious I almost feel like eating it myself lol! Stems are long which is better for rabbit digestion than the short cut up hay. It keeps them occupied as well. And the fact that it comes from small farmers makes me feel good. One thing I realized is that hay is a seasonal thing. The box isn’t always going to be perfect, but so far I’ve been lucky with Viking Farmer.Sorry for the long review but I felt compelled to write this because after my little bun had a scary bout of GI stasis/obstruction, the first hay I turned to once he was well enough was Viking Farmer. Lo and behold, his droppings have never looked better, he has more energy, he wastes less hay. It was also the only Timothy hay he consistently ate when weaning him off Alfalfa hay (which is also amazing from this brand). The only reason I tried other brands in between was there was a point where it wouldn’t deliver from Chewy soon enough. Fresh, top quality, good value, ideal for digestion. And of course no hay dust. Please never stop selling this hay!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I would literally give this hay 10 stars if I could! I also used to purchase my hay from Chewy but got tired of either returning it because it was like litter all chopped up or it was yellow mixed with brown. This Viking Farmer hay is AMAZING! Green thru out and very little scraps. Plus the bonus is I get to support a small business! THANK YOU for all your hard work and efforts for making this hay my #1!

It's literally no hay just sticks zero of what they eat
I'll never again order this brand, I have never bought a hay box or bag that literally had just sticks, not only that tho or claimed to be first cut! You have got to be kidding me... don't waste your time and money... even the guinea pigs looked at me like what the hell dad no cool hehe they only threw it on the floor looking for actual hay.

Food for beasts
The hay was fresh and got eaten well. However the price is a bit much for the amount. However if you only need a small amount this is an option. You can get hay for much cheaper in larger amounts but if you want a small hay this is an option.

Quality and Price #1
I was so pleased with the quality of this hay!! My Guinea pig is older and suddenly became sick. He is doing better, but refused to eat any hay I purchased from the major brands. Thought I’d give this try since the price is right, and I won’t ever buy any other brand of hay. Quality is like no other!

Hay came yellow, 9 days late, no response from company at all
Our pet rabbit loved Timothy Hay from Viking Farmer from when we started ordering in August 2021 until recently. But with our March 2024, the hay quality seems to have markedly worsened: there's no marking on the box that it's Timothy Hay and not some cheaper hay; the hay is all yellow throughout the box; poor quality; very sharp; rabbit choked on the hay.I tried contacting Viking Farmer multiple times (details below). Very poor customer service. There's no way to return the hay via Amazon - they don't allow returns. I've cancelled my Subscribe & Save and unfortunately will not be ordering from Viking Farmer again.Details on our attempts to contact Viking Farmer: over the course of 7 days, between March 6 and 12, I attempted to contact Viking Farmer 7 times, as follows: I emailed Viking Farmer twice--no response to my emails. I called them once--no one picked up the phone. I sent them a Facebook message--no response. I posted on their Facebook page--no response. I sent them seller feedback via Amazon--no response. I sent them an Instagram post and that's the only message they responded to, asking me for the confirmation number; I redirected them to my email, since I couldn't access the confirmation number at that time from my phone. It's been 2 days and no response to my follow-up instagram post. Very poor customer service and the product has gone downhill.
