I installed a 1TB SSD and a 500GB NVME into the device. My Mac Mini M2 pro has no trouble accessing both drives and I've had none of the disconnect problems some people seem to have had. I've used an external blu-ray USB drive successfully plugged into the front of the dock. No issues at all. Good product for a good price. It looks good stacked under the Mac Mini. I do tend to find the mini does slip a bit on the top though so they don't stay perfectly lined up for long.

I have this connected as instructed with one external hard drive and an Nvme had disk installed inside and it randomly ejects the disks even when sat doing nothing. Absolute waste of time. Avoid at all costs. Unless you love your external disks ejecting randomly.

A nifty piece of kit for the price, using a 4TB 2.5 SSD for ~7 months, until I finally got round to installing a 2TB NVME drive with a second power source attached as recommended in other reviews). Worked well at first but then in quick successions 0n my Mac Studio (had a Mac mini at first), got disc disconnected error message, since then the NVME slot doesn't work with any SSD, though the SATA drive. and all front ports continue to work. Currently unable to contact Amazon about a replacement unit (12 months under British law). Useful still to a degree but loss of the NVME slot is some what irritating, to put it mildly. Ultimately, read the reviews (both this one and the Qwizlab equivalent) and ponder before you purchase if you want two use the two SSD slots within.

Al ff in gebruik, uitstekend!!

Wanted to neatly hide my external HDDs, add external SSD (NVMe). Product met my purpose. Originally, the product was stated to be compatible for Mac Mini 2018 or later. I was concerned as my Mac Mini was late 2012 (doesn't have a USB-C port). A simple solution found by using 2 cables that were USB-3 on one end and USB-C on the other. One cable connected to external USB power source, and the other cable as USB-3 connection to Mac Mini. IT works, HDD is recognised. Will be testing with the NVMe SSD when it arrives.

Perfecto, lo tengo con un disco nvme de 2 TB y con un disco hdd de 4tb y todo funciona perfectamente. Hay gente que dice que le dejan de funcionar los discos y no se que cosas pero es fallo de ellos, la cosa está en poner la fuente de alimentación adecuada. Yo compré un cargador USB c de 120w, concretamente para MacBook pro, pero sin ser el oficial, creo que era Ugreen o Xiaomi, no recuerdo ahora, eso y un cable de carga rápida, creo además que el cable venía con el cargador. Junto con un cable USB c Ugreen de los buenos para conectar al Mac mini y todo perfecto, no fallo nunca. Y con los dos discos funcionando a saco, uno haciendo backup con timemachine y el otro con BitTorrent, y en los USB's con el trackpad, el teclado, y un discoduro hdd USB externo. Así que había consumo de la leche. Asegurarse de conectar correctamente los USB's, hay uno para datos y otro para alimentación. Así no falla, confirmado. Saludos.

Recently purchased this hub for my new M2 Pro Mac Mini and so far so good. The colour and footprint matches almost exactly and I think it looks great sitting on top of the Mac. Had some issues initially where the internal drive would keep dropping out however once I plugged in the second USB for power it has been stable even after waking up from sleep. SSD speeds are good. Getting around 420MB/s from a Crucial MX500 1TB SATA drive and around 950MB/s from a Samsung 980 NVME. This is basically identical to the speeds that i was getting from a Ugreen enclosure so love the fact that I'm getting the same speed but everything is hidden away.

I only gave this item 3 stars, because it only works half way. No matter how I tried powering the NVMe SSD it doesn't work! The SSD works fine and has good speeds. The other ports too work fine, but I really wanted to stick BOTH of my external drives in the enclosure to minimize external drives. I really want to give this drive 4 or 5 stars, because I like the idea and the design.
