Excellent product for large chickens or turkeys
This is an excellent product. A1 quality stainless steel, thick gauge, sturdy and neatly finished at the edges (no sharp edges to catch a finger or your chicken). Holds chickens very securely making killing easy. Cleans up nicely. Worth the extra few bucks to get a quality piece of equipment.Based on other reviews, I had a hard time figuring out what size to buy and I thought the M3 might be too large - but it was perfect for my over-sized chickens. I raised white rock chickens that dressed out to 7-8lbs, and this cone was the perfect size. I had a few smaller chickens that dressed out to about 6lbs, and I'd say this cone was a bit too big for them - it still worked, but I had one chicken back out, and one wing fell through. So the M3 is great for 7lb+ (dressed), but if your chickens dress out at 6lbs or less I'd recommend a smaller cone. (stick to this brand for the excellent quality!).

Good product
Used the M3 cone for the first time today to process several of my chickens. When I first received the cone it appeared to be too large for my Rhode Island Red Roosters. However, once I hung it and put my first rooster into the cone I saw that it was perfect for the job. The cone is very sturdy and, being stainless steel, was easy to clean after the job was completed. Well worth the money.

Used them for large ducks
I used this cone to process 16 10 week old White Pekin ducks. The cones were very sturdy and held the ducks well. The ducks did not flip or thrash their way out of the cone. These cones are much more sturdy than some aluminum cones I've purchased in the past for chickens. I would recommend them to anyone processing a larger bird. They could hold a small turkey.

Helps the chickens not be stressed or experience unnecessary pain.
Helps make a very unpleasant task a little easier - and seems to help the chicken not be too stressed. Helps with kosher shechita (slaughter) - far less pain or discomfort for the animals.

very easy cleanup. I employed it for 13 week old ...
Heavy stainless steel, rolled edges, no sharp areas, pre drilled holes for mounting, very easy cleanup. I employed it for 13 week old Muscovy ducks and the size was a good fit but for the several younger ducks the cone was too large. I think the next size smaller would be a better one size fits all for my purpose. I think this cone is worth the money.

Meat rooster size
Good size for Red Ranger Roos. Too big for the hens. Get next size down for them.

Its okay
Came fairly banged up. Would be nice if it had a better mounting option.
