A perfect replacement
I bought this filter replacement specifically for my Nano Cloud humidifier. The model is Philips HU4805/40 Series 2000 Humidifier. Although this replacement filter's model number doesn't match the humidifier #, it is an exact replacement for the filter that came stock. As you'll see in my photos below the review, they are the same size and shape. I live in Calgary where the water is hard. I consider these filters pretty darn good considering the amount of mineral content they absorb. Philips recommends replacing filters at the 3 month mark. I have included photos of exactly the 3 month mark, and I tend to disagree. While the minerals do get caked on, I feel you can push it to 4-6 months without issue. I've noticed no diminishing output in terms of overall humidity. So long as it isn't clogging my unit or causing dust to appear, I'm happy.Keep in mind, Philips recommends not squeezing the filter at all because you could damage part of the lattice structure that keeps it sturdy.UPDATE 12/22/2020:I couldn't find these anymore on Amazon, so I got in touch with Philips customer service. Click on COMMENTS below the review for an update link as of late 2020.

Expensive
This filter is excellent that allows you only to put tap water in the Philips Nano Cloud humidifier, but it is a bit expensive after I spent so much money on the humidifier itself. Hope Philips could find a way to reduce the maintenance costs.

Works for Philips HU 4805/40 and others
Philips charges an arm and leg for the official version of this product. This is just a glorified piece of white cardboard, anyone calling it a filter needs their head checked.Size is the only thing to consider here and this one fits fine. It’s meant to absorb water and create humidity inside the unit for the fan to blow out. We take it out daily after use and quickly rinse and let it air dry. If you leave it in the unit for long periods of time it’ll get stinky and likely gets bacteria. The official Philips product does not seem any more bacteria resistant.

Good Service. Great Product.
We had a hard time finding this filter in local stores so we had to get it online. It's exactly the filter that we needed for our humidifier and it works beautifully. We use it every night so it usually lasts about 3 months if you rinse it at the end of every week.

Replacement for HU4805, Philips NanoCloud Humidifier
I was pleased to see that this worked for my Phillips NanoCloud Humidifier, model HU4805. I couldn’t find these anywhere but a rep at philips said this would work. It does. Good filter. Great humidifier. Little expensive, but it lasts 3 months.
