A must have for your espresso making
This is a well-made dosing funnel. Very heavy, which helps ensure the funnel stays on your portafilter and doesn't slide off. This fits my 51" filter perfectly. Well done; bravo IKAPE!

Sturdy good quality.
Works perfectly for 51 mm portafilter, sits sturdy without wobbling. It’s heavier than I expected but it doesn’t get bumped off easily so I guess that’s good.

Really great quality
We started making our lattes from home bc of how expensive everything is. I got this for my husband for Christmas so that we can speed the clean up process ho a little faster. This prevents the espresso grounds from getting everywhere and just makes a neater and more well rounded shot.

Perfect for La Pavoni Europiccola
Fits my Europiccola 51mm basket perfectly. If I don’t use a funnel like this and mix the coffee with a WDT technique, I get channeling down the puck. I was trying to get by and save money with a cut out yogurt cup, but ultimately this is so much better. It’s solid. Fits well. Easily to use and clean. Perfect. The yogurt cup was not heavy or solid enough. Very happy.

Allows tamping while on the filter basket, but can be knocked off easily, so takes practice.
The advantage of this non-magnetic dosing funnel is that you can tamp while it is in place. It sits on the filter basket rim and relies on the rim to hold it in place, so can feel loose, depending upon the exact diameter of the filter basket (outside edge to outside edge). I’ve learned how to hold it on during my puck prep. Since it is not magnetically held, it can be used to help level the grind pile in the basket before removal.

No more spilled grounds on the counter!
Fit's perfectly on a 51'' espresso basket, and being magnetized, stays there. You'll need a tamper at about 48mm to tamp the grounds with this still on, or, as I do, I just tap down the inside edges with my finger, then give the dosing funnel a half twist as I remove it, grounds perfectly centered and no spillage on the cup rim, and then tamp the cup with the 51mm tamper. Voilla!
